Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for new and existing features.
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for APIs, backend services, and web applications.
• Analyze requirements and technical specifications to identify test scenarios and edge cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication with development teams.
• Improve and maintain test coverage and automation frameworks.
• Participate actively in Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
• Contribute to improving QA practices, processes, and testing standards within the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing.
• Strong experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Experience writing automated tests using languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST clients, etc.).
• Experience with test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

As A Plus

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance or load testing tools.
• Experience testing microservices or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments.
