    We are looking for a Middle Product Manager with experience in desktop products (preferably fintech), who has a strong understanding of desktop development specifics and UI/UX. We are also considering candidates with a software engineering background.

     

     

    • Prioritize and groom Jira backlog to maximize the value delivered to users with each release;
    • Gather requirements, break down tasks, plan, coordinate and control product development across teams, facilitate demos;
    • Work with the development team to translate product requirements into technical specifications;
    • Do presentations and report progress;
    • Take part in architecture, UI/UX design, and implementation decisions, ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable;
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine the product vision and strategy;
    • Proactively collect, visualize and analyze product metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization;
    • Identify new opportunities for innovation and optimization of the product.
    • Sanity testing of improvements that are about to be released.
    • Working with QA teams on identifying use cases, edge cases and best ways to test the product.
    • Working with Support teams to troubleshoot and solve incidents.
    • Writing product documentation.
    • Working with Vendor Management team, occasionally taking part in meetings with data vendors to ensure needs of the product are met.

    Job requirements

     

    • 2+ years of experience in a similar role (desktop project, preferably fintech industry) OR 2 years as software engineer in fintech industry
    • Prioritizing and grooming Jira backlogs and planning roadmaps.
    • Familiarity with modern UI/UX design (focused on desktop).
    • Understanding of desktop development nuances.
    • Proficiency in writing technical specifications and product documentation focused on details.
    • Strong understanding of Kanban principles and other Agile methodologies.
    • Strong presentation skills, ability to explain technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Customer research.
    • Conducting sanity checks.
    • Ukrainian (native or fluent) and English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).

    We are building and improving a large-scale e-commerce platform for a UK-based company that operates both online and offline, serving thousands of customers worldwide with a catalog of more than 7,000 products.
