ABOUT THE ROLE

You will own architecture and end-to-end delivery for the distributed, event-driven services and real-time data-analytics workloads that power the school. The actual code is increasingly written by AI — your real job is defining problems precisely, orchestrating agents, and maintaining quality across parallel workflows. You will work directly with Dima (R&D).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and own distributed, event-driven systems and real-time, high-concurrency data workloads end-to-end (requirements → architecture → implementation → QA → deploy).

- Build and operate the data layer (PostgreSQL, key-value stores, caching).

- Design clean, versioned service boundaries and APIs; integrate third-party systems with deliberate attention to contracts, idempotency, rate limits, and backward compatibility.

- Drive delivery through structured agentic workflows — running 2–3 in parallel — across the full SDLC.

- Uphold an explicit quality bar: automated testing, code review, CI/CD, observability, security-by-default.

- Own secure handling of sensitive data and lead incident response when needed.

- Proven software architect, or a strong senior engineer who independently owns end-to-end system design.

The aim of the project is to maintain enterprise Data Platform's release processes and strategies. The team is responsible for taking the

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our client, a US-based wellness-tech startup building an AI-powered platform for salons and wellness centers.

The product combines machine learning, recommendation systems, diagnostics, eCommerce, and operational tooling into a single ecosystem used by real businesses and customers.

The platform analyzes customer data and questionnaire inputs to generate personalized treatment and product recommendations through a custom AI service built with Python, ML models, and Elasticsearch. The engineering team is continuously improving recommendation accuracy, integrating new AI capabilities, and scaling the infrastructure as the product grows.

This is an opportunity to join a small, product-focused team where engineering has direct impact on the business and where developers are expected to contribute across the entire platform, from AI integrations and backend architecture to cloud infrastructure and customer-facing features.

Responsibilities

* Maintain and improve a Python-based AI recommendation service

* Integrate and improve ML/AI models in production environments

* Improve Elasticsearch-based recommendation and search logic

* Continuously improve recommendation accuracy based on business requirements and user data

* Develop backend services using Node.js / TypeScript

* Build frontend functionality using React

* Manage AWS infrastructure and deployment workflows

* Improve CI/CD and overall platform reliability

* Work on integrations with external systems including Shopify

Responsibilities

1. Partner Acquisition & Relationship Management
• Identify, approach, and onboard new affiliate networks and direct advertisers in the Dating vertical
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners
• Act as the main point of contact for ongoing communication and deal negotiations
2. Offer Sourcing & Evaluation
• Source high-converting Dating offers (SOI, DOI, CPL, RevShare)
• Evaluate offers based on GEO, payout, funnel, and conversion rates
• Analyze partner reliability, payment terms, and scalability potential
3. Negotiation & Commercial Strategy
• Negotiate payouts, caps, and exclusive deals
• Structure deals of cooperation (CPA / Hybrid / RevShare)
• Optimize margins and ensure profitability of campaigns
4. Market & Competitor Analysis
• Monitor trends in Dating vertical (mainstream / adult / casual)
• Analyze competitor activity and identify new opportunities
• Stay updated on traffic sources, creatives, and funnel strategies
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams
• Work closely with PPC / Media Buying team to align on traffic requirements
• Provide partners with necessary campaign data and feedback
6. Reporting & Performance Tracking
• Track performance of partners and offers
• Prepare regular reports and insights for management
