    Full Remote

    About Us

    We’re building a next-generation video creation platform. Our goal is to make professional video editing accessible, fast, and intuitive for everyone from individual creators to large teams.

    We believe current video creation workflows are too fragmented, complicated and slow. Our vision is to bring everything into one seamless experience, where creators can move from idea to high-quality video much faster. By combining advanced AI capabilities with user-friendly design, we aim to redefine how videos are created at scale.

    Job Overview

    We are looking for a Product Manager with real-world experience in video editing tools and creative workflows. You’ll be part of the product development team, working closely with developers, designers, QA, and AI engineers to define and deliver features for our browser-based video creation platform. Your focus will be on building tools that are practical, intuitive, and aligned with the real needs of editors and content creators.

    This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to structure and work with large sets of product and user data, and the capability to define complex features from scratch. You should feel comfortable communicating with U.S.-based customers, writing technical documentation, and maintaining clear, structured specs including PRDs, user flows, edge cases, and testing checklists.

    A background as an advanced video editor is required, you should be confident working with editing timelines, layers, transitions, audio/video sync, voiceovers, rendering, and creative assets. Experience with tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or browser-based editors is strongly preferred.

    You should be consistent, structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage a feature from early research through delivery and iteration. This includes working cross-functionally to coordinate design, development, testing, and release. You should also be comfortable in a startup environment, handling multiple priorities, and balancing speed with quality.

    Key Requirements

    • Hand-on knowledge of video editing platforms: Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve or similar
    • Project management: scope and prioritize work, maintain roadmap/backlog, drive on-time delivery.
    • Work style: energetic, proactive, ownership mindset; thrives in a fast-paced, high-iteration startup with ambiguity and context switching.
    • Agile practice (Scrum/Kanban) and comfort working alongside MERN teams.
    • Data literacy: organize and interpret product usage, user feedback, and test results to inform decisions.
    • Clear documentation: PRDs, user flows, acceptance criteria, edge cases, QA/test plans, release notes.
    • Cross-functional communication with design/engineering/QA; comfortable working alongside MERN teams.

    SKELAR is a venture builder that creates international IT companies according to venture capital investment guidelines. Together with our co-founders, we assemble solid and efficient teams to launch tech businesses that will succeed globally.

    We’re proud of our strong team of 1,000+ professionals with exceptional expertise and ambitious goals. Our people are the company’s most valuable asset, which is why we choose to build businesses together with the best talent on the market.

    We are currently looking for a Senior/Lead Product Manager to join MaxBeauty.

    MaxBeauty brings together a team of ambitious people striving to revolutionize the world of self-care and become a leader in the international beauty & wellness market. Our mission is to make people happy through self-care and self-love, which is why we’re creating an ecosystem of products designed to be loved by millions of users. Right now, we’re focused on developing our core product β€” a personal self-care assistant powered by proven methods, expert knowledge, and AI technologies.

    You’ll have a unique opportunity to join an experienced team in an early-stage business that has already found its unit economics, is scaling, and still offers plenty of room for vertical growth. This is a place where you can have a direct impact on the business, bring your own ideas to life, and grow in proportion to your contribution β€” not within predefined limits or bureaucratic structures.

    This role offers opportunities for vertical growth, greater responsibility, team building, and direct impact on MaxBeauty’s long-term product vision. We are looking for an ambitious professional with an entrepreneurial spirit, ready to take on challenges and, ideally, grow into a Head of Product or CPO role with the potential to earn an equity stake in the business.

    What challenges await you:

    β€” Develop and execute the product strategy, balancing quick wins with strategic initiatives;

    β€” Lead the launch of MaxBeauty’s first app from 0 to 1;

    β€” Coordinate the work of engineering, design, and content teams;

    β€” Focus on improving key product and business metrics: activation, return, and retention;

    β€” Conduct regular user and market research to identify new growth opportunities;

    β€” Generate and validate hypotheses, design and launch experiments, and analyze results;

    β€” Strengthen product thinking and foster a culture of feedback and knowledge sharing across the company;

    β€” Work directly with the founder and key business leads, having an impact on the company’s strategic decisions.

    What is important to us:

    β€” 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably 3+ years in mobile B2C products;

    β€” Proven track record of achieving business goals through successful product hypothesis implementation;

    β€” Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high uncertainty and ownership of outcomes;

    β€” Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions, along with hands-on experience using analytical tools (Tableau/Looker, Amplitude, Firebase);

    β€” Solid understanding of product methodologies (Lean, JTBD, Design Thinking) and UI/UX principles for mobile applications;

    β€” Experience in building strategy, developing roadmaps, and managing backlogs;

    β€” Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research to generate strong product hypotheses and design experiments;

    β€” Practical experience in growth and retention areas aimed at improving key product metrics: A/B- testing, activation pipelines, and communication channels;

    β€” Strong cross-functional team management skills;

    β€” Ability to clearly communicate ideas, defend your point of view with sound reasoning, and make independent decisions;

    β€” English proficiency at B2+ level.

    Bonus points for:

    β€” Experience in building and launching a product from 0 to 1;

    β€” Background in design, engineering, or analytics;

    β€” Deep domain expertise in one of these areas: Growth & Monetization, Product, Analytics, or Content;

    β€” Previous experience with subscription-based business models and products that rely on paid user acquisition channels;

    β€” Previous experience in FMCG, BIG-4, or IB;

    β€” Prior experience in startups or fast-growing products;

    β€” Previous entrepreneurial experience.

    You are a perfect fit for this role if you:

    β€” Act proactively and take initiative (take ownership, propose new ideas, experiment to get things done faster, and improve the end outcome);

    β€” Approach problem-solving systematically β€” identify root causes, break complex issues into smaller parts, and build actionable solutions;

    β€” Are results-oriented β€” set clear priorities, track progress toward team goals, find the resources needed to achieve them.

    What you can expect:

    β€” Competitive marketing compensation;

    β€” Asymmetric career growth opportunities; a chance to grow into a CPO role and become a business partner;

    β€” Strong, experienced, and ambitious team;

    β€” Unlimited growth and networking opportunities;

    β€” Office/hybrid format in comfort offices in Kyiv or Warsaw, and medical insurance;

    β€” Office benefits program including lunches, gym, etc.
