🧾 Experience & Required Skills:
 

• 🎓 University degree in Education, Psychology, HR, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 💼 Proven 3+ years of experience in HR, Learning & Development, or similar — with strong instructional design and delivery skills.
• 👥 Deep understanding of adult learning principles and modern training methods.
• 🗣️ Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help deliver the next generation of payment infrastructure. This is a core technical role, interfacing with internal developers, partner engineers, and product owners.

US schedule. Working hours from 04:00 pm to 00:00 am EET.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Writing secure, high-performance APIs in a production FinTech environment
• Collaborating with frontend, product, and external stakeholders to define requirements
• Authoring complete documentation: API references, integration flows, and support guides
• Ensuring all features meet PCI DSS, GDPR, and security audit standards

• Conducting code reviews and mentoring less experienced engineers if needed

   

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years backend engineering experience in payments, banking, or related industries
• Strong knowledge of payment APIs, tokenization, and reconciliation best practices
• Deep experience with at least one server-side language (Node.js, .NET, or Python preferred)
• Experience with Apple Pay and Google Pay token decryption, validation, and integration
• Familiarity with Cybersource API and pass-through routing concepts
• Strong grounding in security best practices, including AES-256, pen testing, and secure middleware

• Prior experience building merchant-facing interfaces and developer documentation

   

Bonus Experience (Nice to Have):

• Built hosted checkout or pay-by-link flows with masking and expiration logic
