We are a US-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) looking for a senior-level Network Engineer to support ongoing network and infrastructure projects across multiple client environments.

We need an experienced project engineer who can independently assess environments, plan changes, configure infrastructure, execute migrations, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain clear technical documentation.

The engineer must be available during US business hours and for scheduled after-hours or weekend maintenance windows when required.

Current Project Scope

One of the upcoming projects is a network infrastructure migration involving approximately 100 or more network devices.

The project includes:

• Arista core switch migration
• Configuration and migration of an MLAG switch pair
• Hub-and-spoke network topology
• Core and access switch migration
• BGP and dynamic routing configuration
• Migration of virtual routers to physical routers
• Review and validation of the existing network configuration
• Development of migration, testing, and rollback plans
• Coordination of production cutover activities
• Post-migration validation and troubleshooting
• Creation and updating of network documentation
• Migration of Linux virtual machines from an existing Proxmox environment to company-managed servers

The engineer will also support other network architecture, migration, implementation, and troubleshooting projects across client environments.
