 Role Overview 

We're looking for a Middle Solution Architect to join our platform engineering team. You will help translate business needs into practical, secure, and scalable solutions on Azure using .NET, working closely with engineering, product, and operations across multiple domains. 

Responsibilities 

• Design end-to-end solutions for platform modules — services, integrations, data pipelines, and security boundaries. 
• Produce and maintain lightweight architecture artifacts: C4 diagrams, ADRs, HLD/LLD outlines, sequence diagrams, NFR catalogues. 
• Define and review REST APIs: contracts/DTOs, error models, pagination/filtering, versioning, and backward compatibility. 
• Support data design on MS SQL Server: schema, migrations, indexing, query performance, and data access patterns. 
• Contribute to cloud and runtime decisions on Azure (App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, Storage, API Management). 
• Participate in design reviews, incident retrospectives, and reliability/performance improvement cycles. 
• Document decisions clearly and communicate trade-offs across engineering, product, and business stakeholders. 

Requirements — Must Have 

• 3–5+ years building backend systems with .NET (C#). 
• Azure hands-on experience with core cloud concepts: networking, identity, compute, storage, messaging. 
• REST API design strong understanding of integration patterns — sync/async, idempotency, contracts. 
• MS SQL Server schema design, indexes, transactions, query tuning, migrations (EF Migrations / DbUp or equivalent). 
• Security fundamentals: JWT, OAuth2/OIDC at integration and configuration level; secret management; least-privilege thinking. 
• Application design patterns: familiarity with layered/clean architecture, Repository, CQRS basics — and the judgment to apply them with guidance. 
• AI/LLM awareness: understands what RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering are at a conceptual level; can ask the right questions when evaluating an AI integration proposal. 
• Communication: ability to document decisions clearly and work with multiple teams.

• Event-driven architecture: Azure Service Bus / Event Grid, outbox pattern, consumer group design. 
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, AKS / Kubernetes concepts, Helm basics. 
• Observability: Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, structured logging, distributed tracing, alerting. 
• Advanced design patterns: Domain-Driven Design (bounded contexts, aggregates, domain events); Event Sourcing; Saga / process manager; Modular Monolith as a stepping stone to services. 
• Advanced AI/LLM experience: production RAG deployments (chunking, vector stores, re-ranking, evaluation); Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Search; agentic patterns (tool use, Semantic Kernel / LangChain); AI-specific NFRs — latency, rate limits, grounding, PII handling. 
• API Management patterns: gateway policies, rate limiting, developer portal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with business goals and company growth plans

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus labor law and HR compliance practices
• Experience managing HR budgets
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and people management skills
• Experience with HR policies, processes, KPIs, OKRs, and HR analytics
• Hands-on experience with HRM, ATS, CRM, and other HR systems
• Knowledge of relocation, work permits, and immigration processes
• Upper-Intermediate English
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a technology-driven consumer company transforming fragrance discovery through a digital subscription platform. It also operates a portfolio of innovative fragrance and lifestyle brands focused on quality, individuality, and sustainability.

We are looking for a hands-on Principal Platform Architect to own the platform architecture and drive AI-enabled capabilities across the engineering organization. 

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will establish engineering standards, guide cross-team technical decisions, and lead a platform team of two engineers while remaining deeply involved in system design and implementation.

The goal is to help the business scale through technology and AI without proportional growth in engineering headcount.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 3-4+ years in a Principal, Staff, or Platform Architect role
• Deep hands-on Java expertise, including JVM performance, concurrency, and service design
• Experience with Micronaut or Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, REST/GraphQL APIs, service mesh, and AWS cloud-native patterns
• Hands-on experience designing, evaluating, or building AI-powered systems using modern LLM technologies
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks, tool integration, retrieval systems, or memory architectures
• Strong understanding of data modelling, asynchronous messaging such as Kafka, and caching strategies at scale
• Experience establishing and enforcing architectural standards across multiple engineering teams
• Ability to combine architectural leadership with writing and reviewing production code
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to clearly explain technical trade-offs
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously within a distributed team
• At least 4 hours of daily overlap with New York working hours
• Experience with Rust, GraalVM, JVM profiling, Kubernetes, Helm, or production EKS environments is a plus
• Experience with ecommerce, subscription platforms, personalization, or high-scale consumer products is a plus

• Own the company’s platform architecture and AI enablement strategy
• Define service boundaries, integration patterns, data contracts, and shared infrastructure components
