We are currently building a local team and are looking for a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the launch and further development of the project’s marketing function in South Africa.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a marketing strategy for the launch and further development of the company.
• Plan and implement campaigns to attract new customers.
• Launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising on Google, Meta, and other relevant channels.
• Develop the company’s presence on social media.
• Identify and test new customer acquisition channels.
• Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns.
• Work with marketing agencies, designers, copywriters, and other external contractors.
• Participate in the preparation of advertising materials, content, and landing pages.
• Analyze the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, and return on marketing spend.
• Analyze and optimize the customer journey from the first interaction with advertising to obtaining the product.
• Analyze competitors, target audiences, and the online lending market in South Africa.
• Develop the brand and ensure a consistent company communication style.
• Work closely with the product, information technology, call center, and management teams.
• Monitor the compliance of advertising materials with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regular analytics and reports on marketing performance.
   

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing.
• Practical experience in customer acquisition through digital advertising channels.
• Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, and other marketing tools.
• Setting up Google account dashboards.
• Analyzing and setting optimal offers for Affiliates and monitoring them.
• Understanding of the principles of building and optimizing a customer acquisition funnel.
• Experience managing advertising budgets.
• Ability to analyze advertising campaign results and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• High level of English proficiency.

Your project:

OnRise (part of AdConnect) is a high-growth marketing unit operating as an internal premium performance agency. We acquire traffic at scale for leading digital partners, managing high ad budgets and successfully expanding across Tier-1 markets. Rather than being tied to a single product, you will work across diverse performance verticals (starting with Dating and scaling into Health & Fitness and more), driving high-volume creative lines for Meta and Google.

You will:

• Evolve creative production for Meta — sourcing new ideas and angles, and scaling our top-performing concepts through smart iteration.

We're looking for a Creative Manager who will be responsible for producing ad creatives that bring high-quality users into the product. This isn't a "picture designer" role — it's someone who thinks through the funnel: from hypothesis and offer all the way to CTR, CPI/CAC, and post-install/post-registration retention metrics.
 

Responsibilities:

• Generate and test creative hypotheses for paid channels (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, etc.)
• Develop static and video creatives, UGC formats, and product demos tailored to different audience segments
• Craft offers and USPs around the product's core advantages: speed (lessons in minutes, not hours), hands-on practice on real projects, monetizable outcomes
• Analyze creative performance metrics (CTR, CPI/CAC, hook rate, trial/subscription conversion) in collaboration with performance marketers
• Run A/B tests on creatives, draw conclusions, and iterate
• Monitor trends in performance creatives for EdTech/AI products and track competitors in the niche
• Collaborate with the design team, copywriters, and media buyers.
  
  Requirements:
• 1.5–2+ years of experience as a creative or performance marketer
• Understanding of user acquisition unit economics (CPI, CAC, LTV, ROAS)
• Hands-on experience creating creatives for Meta/TikTok/Google Ads (strong creative intuition + real examples to show)
• Ability to work with data: draw conclusions from metrics, not just make things look good
