What you’ll do

• Build and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake (structured + time-series data)
• Transform raw data into ML-ready datasets (feature engineering, windowed aggregations, lag variables, train/test splits)
• Develop and operationalize ML models in Python (scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM)
• Work within Snowflake using Snowpark to productionize models
• Write model outputs back into Snowflake for AI-driven applications and downstream services
• Ensure production reliability of pipelines and models (monitoring, retraining triggers, data quality checks)

What we’re looking for

• Strong Python skills (data engineering + ML)
• Solid Snowflake experience (SQL, Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, ingestion patterns, basic performance tuning)
• Hands-on ML experience — you can build, train and deploy models yourself
• Understanding of ML lifecycle in production environments
• Experience with time-series data (window features, irregular series, forecasting) — nice to have
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake / Azure Fabric — nice to have

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of commercial development experience;
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Experience with Node.js and/or Bun.js;
• Experience with Vue.js is preferred; React is also acceptable;
• Good understanding of full-stack web application development;
• Understanding of WebSockets and real-time communication;
• Experience working with PostgreSQL;
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming;
• Confident working with the Git version control system;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Intermediate level of English.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with modern backend architecture and API design;
• Experience working with ORMs or query builders;
• Familiarity with deployment, CI/CD, and cloud environments;

• Provide technical leadership for AI projects, guiding teams through the treatment of structured and unstructured data for AI processing.
• Oversee backend development (primarily .NET) and ensure solutions meet performance and scalability requirements on Azure.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define scope, deliverables and timelines for AI initiatives.
• Mentor team members, fostering a proactive and autonomous culture and ensuring clear communication across disciplines.
• Drive continuous improvement and adopt best practices in AI development; optionally support front‑end integration (React) and SharePoint Online interoperability.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading AI/ML projects from inception to deployment, including data preparation and model operationalisation.
• Strong backend development skills with .NET and familiarity with Azure services.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills; ability to work autonomously.
• Nice to have: experience with front‑end development (React) and SharePoint Online integration.
