What You Will Be Doing:
Work directly with the Director of Marketing to build algoseek’s organic visibility from the ground up on a newly launched WordPress site. The content exists. The strategy exists. The pages exist. What does not exist yet is proper technical SEO implementation, AI search optimization, indexing, measurement, and iteration.

You will own on-page SEO, technical SEO, AI search optimization, content optimization for search intent, internal linking architecture, indexing strategy, search performance measurement, and reporting. You will be the person who knows why we are or are not ranking, and what to do about it.

What We’re Looking For:
AI-first search understanding. How AI searches and finds information is different from traditional search. Its focus is different. It surfaces articles and information that are genuinely useful, not filler. You must be able to explain how AEO and AIO work, not just conceptually but practically. If your SEO knowledge stopped evolving in 2023, this is not the right fit.

On-page technical SEO. Yes, H1s, H2s, H3s, meta tags, structured data, internal linking, crawl optimization. This is the baseline. Stating the obvious is not a strategy. We expect this to be done correctly as a matter of course, not presented as a deliverable.

Strategic thinking that leads to execution. We have heard enough plans that never get executed. We do not need someone who talks about what they would do. We need someone who does it and shows the results. Complete projects, start to finish. Not fragments.

B2B and technical content understanding. Our content covers quantitative trading, market data infrastructure, backtesting methodology, exchange licensing, and real-time data pipelines. You do not need to be a quant, but you need to be able to read our content, understand the audience intent behind the searches that lead to it, and optimize accordingly.

Hands-on WordPress execution. You will be working directly in WordPress. Plugin configuration, technical SEO implementation, schema markup, sitemap management, page speed optimization. Not directing someone else to do it.

What We Do NOT Need:
We do not need someone who smothers the world in backlinks and calls it a strategy. We do not need someone who monitors rankings once a week and sends a PDF. We do not need theory without action.

About the Role:

This role requires strong backend expertise in Java, deep frontend experience with React, and the ability to act as a technical authority for the development team. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical excellence with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical reference and mentor for the development team.
• Provide hands-on contributions to the product, including implementing solutions in critical areas of the application.
• Review, define, and evolve the product’s architecture and technology stack.
• Propose and execute technical improvements to enhance scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced backend development experience with Java, including frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar.

The Opportunity

This role is for someone who shapes what's worth building, designs it by building, and owns the result in production. You explore and prototype like a designer, then carry the strong ideas all the way to a shipped front-end — one craft, not two stages with a handoff between them.

When the same person designs and builds, there's no spec to hand off and no rebuild cycle: the work moves faster and the original intent survives. You'll sit in a product squad alongside software engineers who own the systems beneath the experience. They're accountable for whether it runs; you're accountable for what it is.

Most of what gets called "AI in product" is a button bolted onto an unchanged screen. Our client is building the opposite: experiences where the agent does the work and the human reviews, corrects, and authorises it. Knowing the difference — and being able to ship it — is the judgment we're hiring for.

What You'll Do

• Explore and prototype to find the right answer. Most of what you make is for learning, not shipping. Production is where the right answer lands, not where it starts.
• Carry features through to the production front-end. The design decision and the code are the same job, in the same hands.
• Help frame what's worth building. Talk to users, pressure-test problems, and shape scope with your squad rather than waiting for a finished spec.
• Build the supervisory surfaces of an agent-native platform: a triage queue an underwriter trusts at a glance, a confidence and citation pattern they can act on, a briefing that replaces a dashboard.
• Use AI across the full loop — research, design, prototype, build, test — as the default way you work, applying real judgment to its output rather than trusting it.
• Own the invisible craft: performance, accessibility, cross-device behaviour, and the responsiveness that makes an interface feel fast.

• A builder who designs and ships front-end to production. You've owned a problem, made the call on what the experience should be, and shipped it yourself.
• Design judgment and taste. When AI produces competent interfaces instantly, telling good from merely functional is the scarce skill.
• Product instinct. You can cut scope without being told to and validate with real users rather than waiting for certainty.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain management accounting for PSP transactions, including incoming payments and customer payouts;
• Calculate, record, and reconcile PSP fees and commissions in accordance with contractual terms and commercial conditions;
• Record and maintain all financial transactions in 1C;
• Perform regular reconciliations between PSP data and the company’s internal accounting systems;
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between external PSP reports and internal records;
• Monitor the accuracy and completeness of payment transaction records;
• Prepare and maintain internal reports related to payment volumes, commissions, settlements, and PSP balances;

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to resolve payment, reconciliation, and accounting-related issues.

   

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial operations, or a similar role; experience in FinTech, payments, e-commerce, or financial services is a strong advantage;
• Experience working with payment service providers (PSPs) and understanding of payment flows is a plus;
• Strong knowledge of 1C and experience working with high volumes of financial transactions;
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills: formulas, pivot tables, data matching, lookups, and working with large datasets;
• Experience with financial reconciliations and identifying discrepancies between different data sources;
• Understanding of accounting principles related to payments, payouts, commissions, and settlements.

English B1-B2 is required, as English is the main language of communication within our international team.
You will not be joining the project alone — our development team already includes two Middle Python Developers, one Senior Python Developer, one Frontend Developer. You will work closely with them, share technical decisions, and help us continue building and improving the product together.
