Role Mission
You will be responsible for testing a photo-editing desktop application powered by advanced image processing solutions and artificial intelligence models based on neural network algorithms.
In addition, this role may occasionally involve testing related mobile and web services components.
Your mission is to ensure product quality across all stages — from initial data science prototypes to core image processing functions and full-featured desktop interfaces (for both macOS and Windows platforms).

Responsibilities
 

• Perform complex exploratory testing of AI-driven photo-editing features and neural network–based models.
• Analyze and validate core image processing engine performance, algorithms, and their integration within the application.
• Conduct functional and integration testing of the desktop photo-editing interface.
• Develop, maintain, and improve test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and reports.
• Collect and analyze QA metrics; provide clear reporting to the QA Lead.
• Collaborate with the Customer Support team to investigate and reproduce user-reported issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with development, product, and design teams to ensure quality delivery.

Position overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with deep expertise in Generative AI implementations. This role is designed for seasoned data science professionals who have successfully transitioned their expertise into production GenAI environments - not for those simply exploring AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architectures for GenAI solutions across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources
• Extract, prepare, and optimize data for consumption into AI platforms from data lakes and direct model ingestion
• Structure diverse data sources for proper ingestion into AI workflows and model training
• Develop and manage automated data streams and pipeline orchestration
• Collaborate with MLOps engineers to ensure seamless data flow for model training and inference
• Implement data quality monitoring and validation frameworks for GenAI applications

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with diverse data sources (structured, semi-structured, unstructured) for AI platform integration

• Experience structuring various data sources for proper ingestion into AI workflows and Foundation Model training
• Advanced knowledge of automated data stream management and pipeline orchestration for AI/ML workloads
• Demonstrated experience building scalable data infrastructure supporting GenAI applications in production environments
• Strong background in AWS data services (S3, Glue, Kinesis, etc.) and integration with AI/ML platforms
• Advanced Python, SQL, and experience with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, etc.)
• Proven track record of transitioning POCs to production-ready, enterprise-scale data solutions
• 5+ years data science experience with 2+ years dedicated GenAI data engineering and preparation experience

Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles
- Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Platform ( ideally GCP) (Kubernetes Engine, Artifact registry, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Buckets, Load Balancer, DNS, VertexAI).
- Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform.
- Docker - writing, optimizing Dockerfiles
- Containers & Orchestration: Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and deployment via Helm.
- CI/CD: Experience with GitLab pipelines (Bitbucket experience is a plus for migration tasks).
- Programming & Scripting: Good skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automation.
- Version Control: Deep understanding of Git-based workflows.
- Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Stackdriver.
- Cloud Networking & Security: Understanding of IAM, DNS, firewall rules, and best practices for securing cloud infrastructure.

Department/Project Description
We are running a large-scale project on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with infrastructure fully managed via Terraform. The system infrastructure works using GCP services, including BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Buckets, Jobs, DNS, and VertexAI.
The project is actively developed using GitLab as the version control system and CI/CD platform.
Following the acquisition of a new company, we are extending the project and taking on a migration initiative: moving the new product’s infrastructure from Bitbucket to GitLab and integrating it into our existing setup.
