· Collaborate with the engineering team on data quality, security, and governance, ensuring HIPAA compliance and healthcare data integrity.
· Build user stories, process maps, and documentation to clearly communicate system functionality and data flows.
· Monitor project performance and identify risks or dependencies that may impact delivery.
· Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate with QA to ensure developed solutions meet business expectations.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with at least 2+ years working closely with Data Engineering teams.
· Proven experience in the Healthcare domain, including understanding of clinical data, claims data, and regulatory compliance frameworks like HIPAA.
· Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and healthcare interoperability standards.
· Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including Snowflake, SQL, Python-based data workflows, and ETL/ELT principles.
· Demonstrated experience in writing detailed business and functional requirements for data-driven solutions.
· Proficiency in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, or draw.io for process documentation.
· Ability to perform data profiling, quality checks, and data mapping.
· Experience in agile or hybrid SDLC environments.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) with healthcare data platforms or services.
· Understanding of BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
· Experience working in or with payer, provider, or life sciences organizations.
· Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management tools.
