    We're looking for a freelance Senior Developer who enjoys solving complex problems, takes full ownership of their work and delivers reliably.

     

    This is a long-term project about online video editing with AI assistance. The video gets transcoded to lower resolution and also gets transcribed by AI. The heavy lifting for the backend is to cover some edge cases of project structure from AVID or Adobe make it usable for us and then convert it back for import. There is also some cloud functions and python binaries.

     

    We're a small, highly focused team that values clarity, autonomy and mutual respect. You'll be working closely with others but are expected to operate independently and take initiative within your scope.

     

    Your Responsibilities

    - Develop and maintain a complex Windows-based system in C#, C++, and .NET

    - Contribute to Python 3-based cloud functions (mostly video processing-related)

    - Handle edge cases in video project formats (AVID, Adobe)

    - Work independently and communicate clearly within the team

    - Deliver high-quality code with a sense of structure and ownership

     

    What We’re Looking For

    - 5+ years of experience with C#, C++ and .NET

    - Comfort working with complex Windows desktop codebases

    - Experience writing or working with Python 3

    - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    - Fluent in English (written and spoken)

     

    Nice to Have

    - Familiarity with AVID or Adobe video editing project structures

    - Experience with video transcoding, transcription, or related media tooling

     

    This is a fully remote role with flexible hours but it requires individual responsibility and follow-through.

      Skills You Need:

      Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in the glass, windows, or interior design industries.

    • Analytical and mathematical skills for precise cost estimation.
