The Vibe:
We are not a boring corporate media team making soulless LinkedIn videos for people who say βsynergyβ unironically.
We run a fast-growing English tech YouTube channel with 60,000+ subscribers focused on AI, SaaS, startups, and tech trends. Our videos are not just talking-head content. We want them to feel alive: clean motion graphics, smart b-roll, animated Figma designs, screenshots, memes, visual examples, charts, product demos, and pacing that keeps people watching.
We are looking for a Junior Video Editor / Motion Designer who can take raw long-form YouTube footage, Figma files, screen recordings, and random ideas from our chaotic brains, then turn them into engaging videos.
You donβt need to be a Hollywood-level editor. You donβt need 10 years of experience. We care much more about taste, speed, curiosity, and the ability to learn fast.
If your After Effects skills are still junior but your eyes burn when you see boring edits, keep reading.
Youβre part editor, part motion designer, part content brain.
P.S. Dark humor is welcome. Being a little crazy is too.
What You'll Actually Do:
Long-Form YouTube Editing: Edit 10-40 minute YouTube videos about AI, SaaS, startups, tech trends, and product building. Youβll work with talking-head footage, screen recordings, voiceovers, and raw materials.
Figma to Video: Take designs, frames, graphics, UI screens, and layouts from Figma and animate them in After Effects. Youβll turn static visuals into clean, modern motion graphics.
Motion Graphics: Animate objects, text, arrows, charts, screenshots, UI elements, icons, diagrams, and other visuals so the video feels dynamic instead of dead.
B-Roll & Visual Storytelling: Find and insert relevant b-roll, memes, screenshots, product demos, news clips, stock footage, AI tool demos, tweets, app screens, and other visual material that supports the story. (we will provide instructions + your recommendations)
Retention Editing: Cut the boring parts, tighten the pacing, add pattern interrupts, zooms, captions, sound effects, music, visual jokes, and other elements that help keep people watching. (we will provide instructions + your recommendations)
YouTube Packaging Brain: You wonβt just βedit video.β Youβll help make the video more watchable. That means understanding the hook, the story, the emotional rhythm, and where the viewer might get bored.
Shorts & Repurposing: Help turn strong long-form videos into short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and X.
Who You Are:
You watch YouTube and actually understand why some videos hold attention and others die after 30 seconds.
You have a good eye for pacing, clean visuals, modern motion graphics, and internet culture.
You are comfortable with After Effects or are obsessed enough to learn it fast.
You can work with Figma files and understand how to take static designs and make them move.
You donβt need perfect instructions for every tiny thing. You can look at a boring section and think: βThis needs a visual, a meme, a screenshot, or some motion here.β
You understand that the goal is not just a beautiful edit. The goal is retention, clarity, energy, and a video people actually finish.
You are curious about AI, startups, SaaS, tech, YouTube, creators, and internet trends.
You are not scared of feedback. Sometimes weβll say βthis part is dead,β βthis is too slow,β or βmake it punchier.β Thatβs not drama. Thatβs the job.
Your Toolkit:
Video Editing: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or whatever you use to cut fast and clean.
Motion Graphics: After Effects.
Design Source: Figma.
AI Tools: Runway, ElevenLabs, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude, CapCut AI tools, or any other AI tools that help you move faster.
Content Research: YouTube, X, TikTok, Google, AI newsletters, tech blogs, and your own brain.
Why Join Us?
No corporate BS, endless meetings, or managers asking you to βmake the logo bigger.β
100% Remote.
Async & Flexible: Work whenever you want. Morning, afternoon, night, 3 AM goblin mode, doesnβt matter. We care about output.
Creative Freedom: Youβll be able to test ideas, improve the format, suggest visual styles, and bring your own taste into the videos.
Fast Growth: Youβll work inside a real YouTube content machine, not some random company making 4 videos per year and calling it βcontent strategy.β
Real Feedback: Youβll learn fast because your work will be published, tested, judged by retention, and improved every week.
PS:
We do not care about your fancy CV.
To get this job, you MUST complete a Test Job.
Youβll receive a short raw video, a Figma file, and a simple editing brief. Your task will be to create a short edited segment with motion graphics, b-roll, pacing, and basic sound design.
We donβt expect perfection. We expect taste, effort, speed, and proof that you can learn.
If we love your vibe, youβre in.
