What is the job

You’ll be the Machine Learning Engineer on a compact, fast-moving team, working directly with the founders. Your mission: design, train, and ship computer-vision models that recognize sports events and generate highlight videos—running both in the cloud and on edge devices.

Responsibilities

• Build & improve CV models – object detection, action recognition, semantic segmentation, tracking, and event classification for multi-camera sports footage.
• Optimize for the edge – convert and quantize models (TFLite/ONNX/RT-Core) so they run in real time on Raspberry Pi 5 and ARM-based phones.
• Own the ML pipeline – data collection, labeling guidelines, experiment tracking (Weights & Biases / MLflow), automated training, and CI/CD to Kubernetes.

This is a remote position, part-time or full-time. Work hours should overlap with German business hours.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with existing customers via phone, email and messengers.
• Run onboarding calls and product walk-throughs for new customers.
• Proactively follow up with new sign-ups / trial users, answer their questions and help them reach first success with the product.
• Collect, structure and document feedback, feature requests and common problems and pass them to the product team.
• Maintain and improve a knowledge base / FAQ in German (templates, email texts, short guides, etc.).
• Keep basic records in our CRM (notes after calls, status of each lead / customer).

Requirements

• Fluent German (C1 or close) — you are confident on the phone with German business customers.
• Good communication in English and/or Ukrainian/Russian for internal communication with the team.
• 1+ year experience in one of the following roles (or similar):
  • customer support / customer success in B2B,
  • sales manager / account manager,
  • call center for B2B clients.
• You feel comfortable speaking on the phone, asking clarifying questions and gently steering the conversation.
• Ability to explain software in simple words, step by step.
• Ability to work during German business hours.

  • Understanding testing priorities: which scenarios are critical and which can be covered by smoke tests.

• Playcanvas (in particular, integrating models into scenes, managing objects and their parameters)
• Salesforce (understanding Salesforce integration)
• Shopify (experience creating or integrating custom React components into Shopify pages, working with plugins)
   

Additional knowledge that may be useful:

• Node.js - writing small services and API wrappers.
• Бандлери - Experience in setting up custom builds (Webpack, Rollup, Vite).
• Web 3D - understanding the principles of 3D in a browser (materials, lighting, optimization).
• Practice with 3D libraries - implementation of projects on React Three Fiber (R3F), Three.js, WebGL, (PlayCanvas, Threekit SDK would be a big plus).
• English language - level A2+ (basic communication, reading technical documentation).
