We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded RF Engineer with practical experience in developing and modifying ExpressLRS (ELRS). You will design and enhance radio communication systems, develop custom firmware features, work with RF protocols, and create new capabilities for RC/FPV hardware.

• Develop and update ELRS firmware for transmitters, receivers, and accessories (e.g., backpack modules, VRX controllers).

Description

Well known european producer of power speakers and concert equipment is working on a next generation digital products. As a part of this effort, GlobalLogic will be working on a brand new desktop application to create and edit a virtual 3d audio space, place audio objects there and define their moving trajectories. The data model created by the application will be consumed by a specialized sound processor, which will apply spatial effects on the live performance sound sources. Target platforms for the appplication is Windows and Mac Os X, with a potential to extend it to iOS in future.

Requirements

Must have:

– BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

– At least 4 years of experience in software development

– Proficiency in C++ is required, including object-oriented design skills and robust coding practices.

– Highly motivated and energetic team member

– Good English (written and spoken) is required as this position involves direct communication with the EU-based customer, clarifying requirements and milestones

– Solid experience with Qt and QML frameworks in developing cross-platform UI applications (desktop and mobile)

– Good understanding of multithreaded applications

– The ability to work in a cross-platform development environment is required.

– Development experience in at least one of Windows or MacOS platforms

– Proven ability to debug complex software systems. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work with large applications involving the writing of significant new code, as well as utilizing existing code and libraries.

Nice to have:

– Experience with development using Agile (Scrum) methodologies is desirable

– Experience in real-time networking application is highly desired.

– Experience in Audio domain, live performance and studio recording is a plus.

– Experience with Dolby Atmos is a plus.

– Knowledge of OSC and OCA protocols is a plus.

– Experience with writing robust unit tests and using test driven development is strongly desired.

– Python experience is a plus

– Experience in creating/supporting robust automated test approaches

– Experience in supporting CI systems and healthy builds
