    We’re looking for an experienced German Content Writer & Proofreader to join our team. In this role, your work will reach millions of AmoMama subscribers around the world. You’ll be working with emotionally resonant German-language stories β€” from celebrity news to inspiring narratives about everyday people. It’s also a great opportunity to sharpen your editorial skills, collaborate with AI tools, and elevate content quality that drives real impact for the business.

     

    In this role, you will:
     

    • Write original news articles in German, focusing on celebrity and pop-culture topics;
    • Proofread and polish articles in German, ensuring grammatical accuracy, natural flow, and editorial consistency;
    • Translate and localize short social-media posts from English into German, preserving native style and tone;
    • Use DeepL, AI-assisted tools and CMS platform to support translation, editing, and quality enhancement at scale.


    To be effective in this role, you’ll need: 

     

    • Fluency in German (C1+) and strong English skills (B2+).
    • Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, DeepL, Claude AI, CAT tools;
    • At least one year’s experience in content creation and proofreading;
    • Prior experience translating texts;
    • Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines;
    • High adaptability, able to adjust quickly to changing tasks and priorities;
    • Clear and proactive communication skills.

     

    Nice to have:

     

    • Experience writing celebrity news.
    • Hands-on experience with CMS (WordPress or similar).
