We are looking for an HR Generalist who genuinely enjoys working with people to join a small product company. The team is small and stable β most colleagues have been with the company for years. Thus, the priority here is keeping that culture strong, making the day-to-day employee experience excellent, and handling hiring when it does arise. This is not a role for someone chasing high-volume recruiting targets; it is a role for someone who cares deeply about the human side of work and stability.
This role reports directly to the CEO, who will be your day-to-day manager and main point of contact. You will work closely together on both strategic decisions and operational matters β so clear, confident communication in English is essential from day one.
Key Qualifications:
β 1+ year of experience as an HR Generalist in a product or service IT company.
β Solid understanding of core HR principles: employee relations, HR documentation, onboarding/offboarding cycles, and benefits management.
β Hands-on experience with the full recruitment cycle β from gathering job requirements and active sourcing, through interviews, offer negotiation, and closing.
β Familiarity with the typical workflows and rhythms of a product company.
β Proactive and self-driven: you identify what needs to be done and do it without waiting to be asked.
β Strong interpersonal skills and genuine empathy β you are energised by human interaction, not drained by it.
β Fluent spoken and written English β essential, as our CEO communicates exclusively in English.
β Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable switching between operational and strategic tasks in a small-team context.
Preferred Qualifications:
β Experience supporting accounting or finance teams (payroll data, invoice preparation).
β Practice drafting and reviewing HR documentation β contracts, NDAs, employment agreements, addenda.
β Background in a company of a similar size (10β30 people), where wearing multiple hats is the norm.
We offer:
β Π place with friendly environment where you can reach your full potential and grow your career.
β Flexible work schedules.
β Work from home.
β Social package: paid sick leave, paid, medical insurance, etc.
What you will do:
Day-to-Day HR Operations (β 80% of the role)
β Serve as the first point of contact for all employee queries β from HR policy questions to benefits, leaves, and everything in between.
β Own employee records: maintain accurate, up-to-date files for both active and former employees.
β Draft, update, and manage HR documentation β PTO policies, absence notification procedures, internal processes, and more.
β Handle employee relations matters with sensitivity and discretion, providing guidance aligned with company policy.
β Manage employee benefits administration and liaise with relevant providers.
Onboarding & Offboarding
β Prepare employment contracts, NDAs, amendments, and all related paperwork β primarily for new hires.
β Support incoming employees before Day 1: corporate accounts, equipment setup, welcome coordination.
β Run structured offboarding end-to-end β knowledge transfer, access revocation, equipment collection, and stakeholder communication.
β Communicate departures and new arrivals to relevant internal stakeholders in a timely, professional manner.
Operations & Administrative Support
β Coordinate workplace operations: equipment procurement, maintenance, and repair.
β Assist the CEO and Accountant with payroll preparation β compiling data, preparing invoicing documents, and supporting salary payment processes.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (β 20% of the role)
β Define role requirements clearly before going to market.
β Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and other relevant channels.
β Conduct interviews and coordinate all subsequent hiring steps.
β Manage offer negotiations and guide candidates through the closing process.
