SaaS Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cold calls and outbound sales conversations with potential B2B customers.
  • Contact inbound and warm leads generated from advertising, website traffic, campaigns, or other marketing channels.
  • Qualify prospects and understand their tendering needs, pain points, budget, decision-making process, and timeline.
  • Present Tender Navigator clearly and confidently during discovery calls and product demos.
  • Run online demos and explain the product value in a practical, business-focused way.
  • Follow up with leads who have shown interest but have not yet made a decision.
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospects through calls, emails, reminders, and follow-up sequences.
  • Handle objections and help prospects understand the business value of the Tender Navigator subscription.
  • Close deals and convert qualified prospects into paying customers.
  • Keep CRM records updated with lead status, notes, next steps, and expected closing probability.
  • Share feedback from prospects with the product and marketing teams.

Experience:

  • experience in B2B SaaS sales.
  • Experience selling subscription-based software or digital platforms.
  • Strong cold calling experience.
  • Experience conducting SaaS product demos.
  • Experience managing follow-ups and nurturing undecided leads.
  • Ability to explain software products in a simple and convincing way.
  • Understanding of SaaS sales funnels, conversion rates, demos, trials, subscriptions, and customer onboarding.
  • Ability to work with CRM systems and structured sales pipelines.
  • Comfortable working with sales targets and measurable KPIs.

 

Ideal

  • Speaks German at a native or near-native level.
  • Has strong English for internal communication.
  • Has already sold SaaS products successfully.
  • Is confident with cold calling.
  • Knows how to conduct a demo and guide the conversation toward a buying decision.
  • Is persistent with follow-ups without being pushy.
  • Can work with leads who are interested but hesitant.
  • Understands that in SaaS, many leads need structured follow-up before they convert.
  • Can work independently and report progress clearly.
  • Is commercially minded and understands conversion metrics.
  • Can understand the value of Tender Navigator for companies that regularly search for and participate in tenders.

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with B2B SaaS in tendering, bid management, business intelligence, GovTech, legal tech, or similar sectors.
  • Experience selling to SMEs, consultants, suppliers, agencies, or professional service companies.
  • Experience working with marketing-generated leads.
  • Experience improving sales scripts, demo flow, and follow-up sequences.
