    PROJECT
    The platform of Managed Service Provider-enabling applications is at the core of our client’s company.  The product team serves the IT security and IT services (MSP/MSSP) market and their SMB customers. We develop Microsoft 365-centric SaaS security and CASB software designed to support the lifecycle of each customer, ranging from the acquisition of SMB companies based upon the competency our subscribers show in assessing and managing IT security, to the configuration and protection of their customers’ SaaS applications and cloud-hosted data. We also provide responsive security support and periodic security reviews. 

    Technologies: C#, .NET Core, MS Azure, Entity Framework Core, Docker, and Kubernetes. 

    Team: 10 people. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Document and prioritize feature requirements 
    • Engage with subscribers directly and indirectly using various data sources and research to understand their challenges and to help them utilize products in ways that help them deliver outstanding IT services to their customers 
    • Help define the solution assets relating to the β€œjobs to be done”, ranging from tactical security configurations to guided workflows that help teach and standardize the security management function 
    • Work with other product owners to document requirements through epics, features, user stories and defects, and advocate for them into the product backlog 
    • Assist the product team in prioritizing usability improvements, the bug backlog, and the need for new features that can improve overall product adoption 
    • Help the team coordinate the backlog across multiple engineering teams to maximize market impact 
    • Engage with the engineering team(s) to drive delivery and quality, including the participation in Agile ceremonies, authoring/refining user stories and defects, and documenting acceptance criteria 
    • Work with technical writing and marketing teams to create documentation, marketing content, and go-to-market deliverables that aid team goals. This can include functional help guides for end users 
    • Work with designers and other PMs to craft and implement in-product user engagement experiences, including product tours, new feature highlights, learning aids, etc. 
    • Work with the services team(s) to help drive customer success initiatives, including internal and external product training, multi-channel user engagement tools, and feedback mechanisms that help improve our products 
    • Work with design team to create great user experiences, including ancillary tools that work with the product to engage users, track usage, record user sessions, etc.

     

    Requirements

    • At least 5 years of general software product management experience, including gathering and documenting requirements, building and managing a product backlog through epic, feature, user story, and defect writing, and driving the development of these work items using Agile methodologies 
    • Basic understanding of the IT services, Managed Service Provider (MSP) and/or Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) market, as well as the role they play in administering cloud application environments, including security management 
    • At least 2 years of experience writing documentation for end users that aids in their understanding of the software and how to operate its features 
    • At least 2 years of experience with in-product user engagement tools like Intercom, Pendo, and others to help enable product-lead experiences, tours, new feature announcements, etc.β€― Also, key to this experience is using the tools’ features to measure user engagement and feature adoption 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage prospects and subscribers in requirements discovery, document and confirm requirements, and translate those requirements for software engineers and quality assurance team members 
    • Excellent time management and project leadership skills, working with distributed teams across time zones

    As our Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in scaling and securing the systems that power the world’s first Connected Swim Training Platform. You’ll design and operate the cloud infrastructure that keeps thousands of athletes connected in real timeβ€”delivering data, insights, and performance feedback with minimal latency and maximum reliability.

     

    This is a hands-on role for a builder who thrives in high-growth, fast-moving environments. You’ll work across AWS, CI/CD, and automation to ensure our backend, mobile, and gameplay systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently at scale.

     

    We’re looking for someone who can blend strong DevOps engineering with backend awareness: someone who understands how infrastructure choices affect data consistency, user experience, and system performance. You’ll collaborate closely with full-stack and gameplay engineers in Lisbon, shaping our technical foundation as we grow globally.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Architect, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure (ECS/Fargate, EC2, Lambda, CloudFront, Terraform, CloudFormation) to deliver scalable, high-performance systems.
    • Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web, backend, and mobile applications (React Native, Node.js), ensuring seamless releases and rapid iteration.
    • Implement and manage CloudflareCloudFront, and S3 Origin configurations to enable global distribution, caching, and low-latency asset delivery.
    • Design for scalabilityreliability, and uptime, applying redundancy, auto-scaling, and failover strategies.
    • Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MySQL), ensuring data integrityconsistency, and high throughput.
    • Enhance security and compliance through encryption, IAM policies, access control, and adherence to GDPRCCPA, and SSDL (Secure Software Development Lifecycle) principles.
    • Integrate monitoringlogging, and alerting systems (Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana) to maintain full observability and proactive detection.
    • Use AI-assisted tools (Claude, Copilot, Cody) and automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make) to streamline workflows and accelerate problem-solving.
    • Continuously evaluate cost efficiency, optimizing AWS resource allocation for sustainable scaling.
    • Ensure interoperability with external systems by adhering to open standards, managing API rate limits, and optimizing bandwidth usage.
    • Support the development and release of mobile apps, ensuring build pipelines are stable, performant, and secure.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Lisbon (engineering, design, product) to deliver reliable, low-latency experiences to athletes worldwide.

     

     

    Required Skills

    • 5+ years in DevOpsinfrastructure, or backend engineering roles.
    • Strong experience with AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, CloudFormation, Terraform).
    • Proficient in Node.jsTypeScript, and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
    • Proven experience managing and scaling databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MySQL).
    • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelinescontainer orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
    • Hands-on experience configuring CloudflareCloudFront, and S3 Origin for global content delivery.
