About the Role
 

We're building a card-acquiring platform from scratch — and there's a critical layer that sits between engineering and finance that nobody owns yet: how the product actually moves money.

That means merchant and BIN onboarding, scheme processing, settlement and reconciliation, fiat payouts via SEPA and SWIFT, and making sure all of it is safeguarding-compliant. Right now this layer lives across our CTO and CFO. You'll own it — end to end.

No legacy systems. No bureaucracy. No ticket conveyor belt. Just you, a small senior team, and a genuinely hard domain where the decisions you make in the first six months will shape how money flows through the platform for years.

This is not a CFO role — we don't expect P&L, capital adequacy, or FP&A. It's not a Scrum PO or a BA. It's the owner of the financial and payments product layer: someone who digs into the domain themselves, writes specs engineers can build from, and makes product decisions. Disputes/chargebacks, FX, and the merchant-facing portal sit in adjacent roles.

What You'll Own:
 

• Merchant & BIN onboarding — design how merchants get set up in our core processing platform, end to end.
• Scheme processing — get into the mechanics of authorisation, 3DS, clearing and settlement, and own the product decisions that follow.
• Settlement & reconciliation — define how money moves from scheme settlement into our ledger and through to safeguarding accounts. Spec it to the point engineering can build.
• Fiat payouts — own the product side of SEPA and SWIFT payouts through our banking partners, including what we need from each integration.
• Safeguarding — make sure every money movement decision is designed with regulatory requirements in mind, in close collaboration with the CFO.

You'll Be a Strong Fit If:
 

• You have 4–6+ years in product at a payments or fintech company — ideally regulated. You know what that means in practice.
• Card acquiring isn't new to you: BIN sponsorship, interchange, scheme fees, 3DS, PSD2 exemptions — you've worked with these, not just read about them.
• You can take a requirement from a regulator or CFO and turn it into something engineers can actually build.
• You're comfortable driving alignment with a CTO and CFO directly — no product director needed as a go-between.
• You understand how money moves: settlement, reconciliation, correspondent banking, SEPA, SWIFT — well enough to spot when something is wrong.
• You figure things out yourself. You read the docs, you call the counterparties, you don't wait to be briefed.
• You think in flows, not features — you see the end-to-end journey of funds, not a backlog of disconnected tickets.

We are expanding our talent pool of Python Backend Engineers to support upcoming international projects across various industries, including FinTech, Healthcare, E-commerce, Logistics, and SaaS.

While there is no immediate project assignment, selected candidates will become part of our network and will be among the first to be considered when new opportunities matching their expertise become available.

Our backend projects typically involve designing scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, cloud-native solutions, and microservice architectures using modern Python technologies.

We are developing an international payroll product that helps companies calculate and pay employee salaries across multiple jurisdictions accurately, on time, and in compliance with local regulations.

The product is demonstrating strong growth, and we are looking for a commercial leader who will build the sales function, establish a partner channel, and take full ownership of the business unit's revenue performance.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition

• Develop and execute the outbound sales strategy, including ICP definition, outreach sequences, negotiations, and deal closure.
• Manage the sales pipeline in CRM and prepare weekly forecasts.
• Ensure a structured handoff of signed clients to the Customer Success team.

Partner Channel Development

• Identify, negotiate, and onboard strategic partners, including HR consultancies, accounting firms, EOR/PEO providers, and HCM/ERP integrators.
• Define commercial terms, negotiate SLAs, and launch joint go-to-market initiatives.

Revenue Expansion Within Existing Accounts

• Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities together with Customer Success.
• Own and improve the project's Net Revenue Retention (NRR).

Customer Onboarding Support

• Provide commercial support during client implementation and remove onboarding blockers.
• Ensure Time-to-Live does not exceed 45 days from contract signature.

P&L Ownership

• Manage the business unit's financial model, including revenue, margins, and unit economics.
• Conduct monthly P&L reviews, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting.

Team Building and Leadership

• Hire and manage the commercial team as the business scales, including SDRs, Account Executives, and Partner Managers.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, growth, or commercial leadership roles within SaaS, FinTech, HCM, Payroll, or related industries.
• Proven track record of closing deals in international markets.
• Experience managing a P&L or owning a revenue function.
• Experience building and managing partner channels.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with global payroll platforms such as Deel, Remote, Rippling, or Papaya Global.

We are looking for an Anti-Fraud Manager to join our product B2C iGaming company operating in the US Sweepstakes market.

The main focus of this role is to identify and investigate fraudulent player activity, review withdrawal/redemption requests, analyze gameplay patterns, and prevent abuse while ensuring legitimate players have a smooth experience.
 

Responsibilities:

• Review withdrawal / redemption requests to identify potential fraud, abuse, and suspicious activity.
• Analyze player gaming sessions and gameplay behavior to identify fraudulent or abnormal patterns.
• Detect and investigate multi-accounting, including connections between accounts based on available player, device, payment, behavioral, and other data.
• Identify suspicious player behavior, bonus abuse, payment-related fraud, and other types of product exploitation.
• Make decisions on approving, rejecting, or requesting additional verification for withdrawals/redemptions according to internal company policies and risk criteria.

As we continue to scale, we are looking for an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the next stage of our growth in the US Sweepstakes Casino market.
 

As CEO, you will define the company's long-term vision, shape its strategic direction, and drive sustainable business growth. Working closely with shareholders and senior leadership, you will build a high-performing organization, strengthen operational excellence, and position the company as a market leader in one of the fastest-growing segments of the iGaming industry.

Key Responsibilities
 

Business Strategy & Growth:

• Define and execute the company's long-term vision and growth strategy within the US Sweepstakes Casino market.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion initiatives to drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to maintain a strong market position.

Operational Leadership:

• Lead and optimize company operations across Product, Marketing, CRM, VIP, Affiliates, Payments, Customer Support, Compliance, and Technology.
• Build scalable processes and organizational structures that support rapid business growth.
• Ensure alignment between departments around strategic priorities and company objectives.

Commercial & Financial Management:

• Own the company's commercial performance, revenue growth, profitability, and overall P&L.

What We're Looking For

Executive Experience:

• Proven executive leadership experience as a CEO, General Manager, Managing Director, or another senior leadership role within iGaming, Sweepstakes Casino, Social Casino, or a high-growth digital product company.
• Demonstrated success in scaling product-led businesses and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Industry Expertise:

• Deep understanding of the US Sweepstakes Casino ecosystem, including acquisition channels, affiliate marketing, retention strategies, VIP programs, and player lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of commercial models, digital marketing, and operational best practices within the iGaming industry.

Business & Financial Acumen:

• Extensive experience managing P&L, financial planning, budgeting, and business performance.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational execution.

A5 Labs builds technology for some of the largest online poker and mobile gaming operators in the world: game clients, tournament back office, and the security systems that detect bots and AI-assisted play. Fully remote company. The QA team is 15 people spread from China to Portugal, and we are adding one more.
 

Read this before you apply

This role has two hard requirements. If you don't meet both, please don't apply — it will waste your time and ours.

1. You know poker at a near-professional level. "I play with friends sometimes" is not enough. You should be comfortable discussing ranges, ICM, solver output, tournament structures and cash-game formats without looking anything up. In the interview we ask questions like:

• What edge cases should be tested in a Mystery Bounty MTT?
• You have access to the MTT back office. Which parameters would you set to break the tournament under the hood, and what would you expect to see on the client?
• Describe a spot in NLHE where folding pocket kings preflop is correct.

If those questions sound hard, this is not the role for you.

2. You work without being pushed. Everyone here is remote and your manager is often in a different timezone. Nobody will assign you tasks every morning. We expect you to see what needs testing, take it, and say plainly when something is blocked, late, or when you made a mistake. Sitting idle and waiting for a ticket, or hiding problems from your manager and the team, is the fastest way to fail here.

 

What you will do

• Test new and existing features of poker software: game clients (iOS, Android, web, desktop) and the tournament/back-office tools behind them.
• Write the test design before execution: test cases in TestRail, with clear coverage of the feature, its edge cases and its integrations with other systems.
• Run regression on every release and keep the regression suite up to date.
• Find, reproduce and report bugs in Jira with enough detail that a developer can fix them without asking you follow-up questions.
• Investigate issues reported by real players and turn them into reproducible bugs or a clear "not a bug" with evidence.
• Pick the parts of your area that should be automated and automate them (Playwright or Cypress), integrated with the rest of the team's automation.
• Work directly with the Product Manager and developers on your team. You own quality for that team: nobody signs off on your behalf.
• Report on what was tested, what wasn't, and what risk remains before each release.
• Use AI as a working tool, not a novelty. The QA team uses Claude.ai every day: to build internal QA tools, to generate and review test designs, to analyze logs and bug reports, and directly in testing. You will be expected to do the same and to find new places where it saves the team time.
• If you perform well, grow the area: more scope, and potentially your own sub-team.
  
   

What we require

• Poker proficiency close to a professional level (see above). You know what VPIP, PFR, ICM and a solver are without asking an LLM.
• 5+ years of hands-on QA in a fast-paced product environment.
• Strong experience testing native mobile apps on both iOS and Android, plus web applications.
• Strong test design skills: you can take a feature spec and produce a test case set with real coverage, not a list of happy paths.
• Hands-on experience with a test case management tools and Jira.
• Basic hands-on experience with Playwright (AI approach to building test automation is a plus)
• Ability to understand how the application interacts with external systems (payments, back office, game servers) and test those boundaries.
• Hands-on daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT or similar) to speed up your own QA work: test design, scripting, data generation, log analysis, writing automation. You should be able to show concrete examples of how AI made you faster, not just say that you "use it".
• English C1 or higher, spoken and written. All communication is in English.

• Experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams.

• Previous work on a poker or casino product (client or back office).
• Experience with API testing and reading logs / database queries to verify results.

• Experience building a QA process from scratch in a growing team.
