We are seeking an experienced Embedded Video Engineer to join the Gyrolab Electronics team full-time at our R&D office in Kyiv.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver robust camera connectivity for gimbal systems.
• Develop Linux drivers for V4L2 and vendor-specific camera stacks.
• Implement FPGA firmware for video processing and effective data transferring.
• BSP customization for the new product.
• Resolve complex camera issues across manufacturing and field operations.

The project extensively uses AWS cloud, Lambdas, containers, infrastructure as a code, SQL, and NoSQL storage, and the latest versions of languages and tools. Some teams are more product-oriented and build outstanding student-facing applications, and some teams own shared components and services used by other products.

Position overview

We are looking for a DevOps to help design, build, and operate scalable cloud-native systems. This role focuses primarily on AWS infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and system observability and reliability. You will work with AWS Lambda, containerized services, and monitoring tools to ensure stable, secure, and cost-efficient operations.
Python is used for automation and scripting tasks together with core application development.

• Have 2+ years of experience in L2 production application support
• Possess good Linux knowledge and hands‑on experience
• Have Kubernetes basics
• Understand network communications and protocols, including HTTP(S), WebSocket, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing
• Bring strong troubleshooting and investigation skills
• Understand monitoring principles, alerting, performance, and healthiness metrics
• Have hands‑on experience with visualization tools, such as Kibana and Grafana
• Have experience using CI/CD tools and processes, including Git, Jenkins, and Argo CD
• Possess intermediate English proficiency or higher
