ABOUT THE JOB

HiMASTERS — is looking for Hard-surface artists to create assets for Flying simulators, Train simulators, Third-person mech shooters (PC, mobile), weapons for FPS, TPS games.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create 3d models and textures of planes, vehicles and machinery with high-level of similarity. Ideally using camera/photo matching techniques. Simulator projects require a high-level of similarity. Ideally there should not be a difference between a photo and a model.
• Create hard-surface models using different techniques and pipelines (high-to-low, mid-poly, low-to-high poly)
• Retopologize and transform 3d scans and CAD models to game ready models.
• Ensure consistency and quality of your work and be able to match the project requirements.
• Receive feedback and modify work based on art direction.
• Report work progress. We require 1 screenshot and 1 sentence report regarding the work progress at the end of the day. We use it to keep our clients up to date.
   

REQUIREMENTS

• The main requirement is responsibility.
• Knowledge of modern modeling pipelines
• Functional knowledge of articulation and mechanical aptitude
• Experience with creating PBR materials

• Project Description:

  Data Catalog program is an initiative to develop a centralized data management platform by bringing together all Group's data sources. The platform intends to contain suite of applications to manage different aspects around Data Governance specially:
  • Metadata Management across all applications with heavy focus building data catalog, identifying relationships across metadata, creating and managing tag hierarchies based on business context
  • Cloud based offerings to business and application users for accessing data catalog and associated data by creating unified Data Layer on top of all data sources. This will enable data consistency across and will serve an input to superior analytics helping drive business with meaningful insights
  • Promote self-service model for managing various aspects of data governance
  • Centralize risk management around data and improve regulatory data compliance requirements

• Responsibilities:

  Metadata Management
  • Lead onboarding of data providers onto the Data Highway platform
  • Manage the complete onboarding process (end to end) of data dictionaries and related datasets related to the assigned applications
  • Develop a subject matter expertise on the data dictionaries, datasets and relationships between different datasets for the assigned applications
  • Ensure the data quality of data dictionaries and underlying datasets for the assigned applications. This will include working actively with data providers in resolving any conflicts, issues pertaining to data dictionaries, datasets available on Data Highway for the assigned applications
  
  System Analysis
  • Develop deep functional knowledge on Data Highway suite of applications
  • Lead and drive the system improvements across the Data Highway's suite of applications
  • Develop detailed functional solution for the proposed enhancements and work with technology partners from implementation purposes
  • Develop detailed understanding of underlying data model for each of the above-mentioned applications
  • Work with UX/UI designers in case of any user interface-related requirements.
  • Develop and execute test cases pertaining to enhancements
  • Manage backlog of enhancements for the assigned module/sub-module within an application
  • Work diligently on resolving any production issues reported by business users
  • Coordinate with end users during UAT execution and work with development team to resolve any open issues in timely manner
  • Work with release management team to ensure all the planned items are released as per release plan
  
  User Engagement and Operational Process Improvement
  • Engage users at all levels i.e. data providers, business users, stake-holders
  • Conduct user trainings, demos on Data Highway suite of applications when required
  • Actively seek user feedback on the features they use with the goal of getting a sense of any user experience issue, potential enhancements/improvements
  • Provide monthly updates to senior management team on the current state of their assigned applications, enhancements/improvements
  • Strive to make the overall process more efficient either by proposing any potential automations or building new capabilities within the Data Highway suite of applications

• Mandatory Skills Description:

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or relevant 5+ years of experience
  • Proven experience in a technical BA position
  • Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
  • Practical experience in both reading and documenting functional requirements
  • Solid SQL knowledge.

This team is building a next-generation platform that streamlines how the client connects with external partners, enabling secure, scalable, and efficient data and service exchange.

Overview

As a Software Engineering Team Lead in the PIH nearshore team, you will provide technical leadership, support delivery of features, and ensure high engineering standards. While development direction and design decisions will be defined in collaboration with Partner Engineering, Architecture, and Certification teams, your role will focus on ensuring that the nearshore team delivers robust, secure, and maintainable software aligned with client's standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design and delivery of scalable serverless backend services using AWS Lambda and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Oversee implementation and optimisation of features in the React-based frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Guide and mentor nearshore software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and engineering excellence.
• Act as a key liaison with Partner Engineering and Architecture teams, ensuring delivery is aligned with product ambitions and BBC technical standards.
• Support a test-first culture, engaging in the testing narrative to ensure end-to-end coverage with unit, integration, and automated tests (Jest or similar).
• Ensure infrastructure is managed as code with AWS CDK, and deployments are automated through AWS CodePipeline.
• Support database design and management using PostgreSQL, maintaining data integrity, performance, and consistency.
• Conduct code reviews, uphold engineering best practices, and maintain alignment with BBC’s engineering standards.
• Collaborate with the Certification team and PE team to refine requirements into actionable technical solutions.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Solid hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably AWS CodePipeline).
• Strong background in unit, integration, and automated testing (e.g., Jest).
