    We are a US West Coast-based fintech company building the foundation of a new platform to transform financial data workflows. The founder has already created the initial infrastructure in Google Sheets and Google Apps Script, and we are now looking to extend and evolve it.

     

    The immediate focus will be automating financial data workflows inside Google Sheets. Over time, this role will expand into building sophisticated financial tools with JavaScript, Node.js, and React, while Google Sheets will remain a key part of the ecosystem.

     

    This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground floor, work directly with the founder, and play a central role in shaping both the platform and future technical team.

     

    Tech Stack

    - Core: Google Apps Script / Google Workspace APIs (Sheets, Drive, Docs)

    - Future: JavaScript, Node.js, React

    - Optional (Nice to Have): Python for data transformations and integrations

     

    Team & Collaboration

    - You will be the first developer hire, working directly with the founder who has built the initial infrastructure.

    - As the platform grows, you will help define the technical direction and contribute to team expansion.

     

    Role Details

    We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer to join our Orchestration Team — a key team at Solidgate responsible for the core functionality of our payment platform.


    Our orchestration product helps businesses gain full control over their payment infrastructure without the need for significant resources. This means quickly launching new APMs, optimizing conversion, reducing costs, and ensuring stability. It's no longer just a trend—it's the new standard in payment technologies.

    Your Responsibilities:
     

    • Define test coverage scope: Analyze functional requirements, risks, and technical specifications to effectively prioritize and focus efforts on the most critical aspects of the product.
    • Develop meaningful test artifacts: Create comprehensive and logical automation plans and test scenarios that ensure coverage of key functional areas and help identify critical defects.
    • Build fast and reliable automated tests: Design and implement stable automated tests that are not flaky (unreliable) and provide timely feedback within the Continuous Integration (CI) process.
    • Maintain the automation test suite's relevance: Regularly update and adapt existing automated tests according to product changes, and continuously improve their reliability.
    • Evolve the automation stack: Implement new tools, optimize the current framework, and enhance the speed and usability of test operations.
    • Ensure product quality confidence: Provide the team with timely and relevant information on the current product status, enabling the release of new features with a high level of confidence.
       

    What We're Looking For:
     

    • 3+ years of experience in test automation with Java and 4+ years of overall QA experience.
    • Deep expertise in Java and TestNG.
    • Experience with API and UI test automation.
    • Knowledge of GitLab or GitHub.
    • Experience with Jenkins Pipelines.
    • Understanding of business processes and a product mindset.
    • Ability to write truly stable tests.

    This position assumes wide range of BA activities starting from the working with high level requirements from customer and ending up with discussing and documenting the implementation solution with the tech team.
     

    Responsibilities:
    - Direct communication with Business stakeholders and technical partners on a day-to-day basis
    - Requirements elicitation from the stakeholders

    — Experience & domain: 3+ years in sales training/enablement within financial services/fintech/banking; B2B/institutional sales exposure. Deep grasp of markets, products, risk and operations; payments expertise is a plus.
    — Sales methodologies: consultative, solution and strategic selling; objection handling and negotiation.
    — Learning design & delivery: adult‑learning–based program design; in‑person/virtual delivery, role‑plays, case studies; knowledge/skills assessments and post‑training effectiveness reviews.
    — Content & enablement: build/manage the sales content library, competitive briefs, target account lists.
    — Regulation & compliance: translate regulatory requirements into practical sales standards and scenarios fit for institutional contexts.
    — Cross‑functional collaboration: effective stakeholder management across Sales, Product, Marketing, Compliance and Delivery; influence without authority.

    Responsibilities

    — Onboarding & training: design and run BDM onboarding (products, regulation/compliance, processes, CRM, comms standards) via classroom, virtual sessions and role‑plays.
    — Materials & content: create/maintain training and sales collateral (guides, decks, playbooks, e‑learning modules, videos, compliance checklists, talk tracks).
    — Sales enablement: Preparation of guides, templates, proposals and cards describing competitive advantages; continuous competitive briefings; maintenance of target customer lists, segmentation, messaging.
    — Effectiveness & KPIs: build assessments (pre/post tests, practical tasks, simulations), capture KPIs (stage velocity, conversion, CRM activity), report insights and recommendations.
    — Cross‑functional: partner with Sales/Product/Marketing/Compliance/Delivery to keep content current and close skill gaps; align on update priorities.
    — Tools & processes: train teams on CRM and enablement platforms; contribute to selection/rollout of tools; ensure data quality.
    — SME support: act as subject‑matter expert at conferences and client meetings; run internal train‑the‑trainer and ambassador sessions.
