About Us:
We are a fast-growing e-commerce and nutra business operating on a cash-on-delivery (COD) model. We need to move beyond siloed data and incomplete spreadsheets to gain real-time visibility into our profitability and cash flow projections. We are implementing Microsoft Power BI as our core analytics platform to achieve this goal.

The Challenge:
We track revenue in our "Traffic Manager" system, but costs (Amsped fees, courier costs, salaries) live in different systems. We need someone to build a unified system to match revenue and costs by Order ID, calculate real P&L, and forecast future cash flow from pending orders.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Integration & ETL: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Power BI's Power Query to extract, transform, and load data from various sources:

• APIs (Traffic Manager, Courier tracking systems)
• Databases (SQL Server, etc.)
• Flat files (Excel, CSVs from Amsped)

Data Modeling & DAX: Develop robust data models within Power BI and write complex DAX formulas to define key business metrics, including:

• Profit and Loss (P&L) per affiliate, product, and region
• Return-to-Origin (RTO) rates and delivery success rates
• Projected revenue from orders pending delivery

Dashboard Creation: Design and publish interactive Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights and track KPIs.

Cash Flow Forecasting: Build the "Projection Layer" using Amsped delivery status data to forecast expected delivery timelines and cash receipts.

Weekly Reporting Automation: Automate the production of weekly P&L reports showing actual profit/loss and projected cash flow.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years working as Data Analyst / BI Analyst / BI Developer.
• Proven, strong, practical experience with Power BI:

Your mission

Build and own our BI layer so we can see real profit, not just delivered revenue. You’ll connect all data sources, model them in Power BI, and deliver weekly dashboards that management can actually use to make decisions.

Within first months, we expect you to deliver:

• A weekly P&L dashboard (affiliate / product / courier / GEO).
• A projection layer: pending orders, expected delivery, and cashflow forecast.

What you’ll do

1. Data integration & modelling

• Integrate data from:
  • Traffic Manager API (clicks, leads, sales, order value)
  • Amsped / courier exports (delivery status, RTO, costs)
  • Finance / HR data (salaries, fixed & variable costs)
  • Other sources (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, etc.)
• Use Power Query to build repeatable ETL flows (clean, transform, merge).
• Create a single Order ID–centric data model that links revenue, logistics, and cost data.

2. Metrics, logic, and DAX

• Build core measures in DAX, including:
  • Revenue: gross, net, COD collected, by date / GEO / affiliate / product.
  • Costs: courier & logistics, Amsped fees, call center, salaries, media spend (if available).
  • Profit & loss: per affiliate, product, courier, postal code, GEO.
  • COD-specific KPIs: RTO rate, delivery rate, confirmation rate, average delivery time, etc.
• Implement projection logic:
  • Orders in “in transit / pending” status.
  • Expected delivery probability & timing by courier / GEO.
  • Projected revenue & cash in for the next 1–4 weeks.

3. Dashboards & reporting

• Build clear, non-fancy Power BI dashboards for:
  • Management (high-level P&L + projections).
  • Marketing / affiliate team (performance by affiliate, traffic source, funnel).
  • Operations / logistics (courier and region performance, RTO hotspots).
• Automate weekly reporting – so the same dashboards refresh from live data, no manual exporting and merging in Excel.

4. Quality, governance & documentation

• Put basic data validation checks in place (e.g. mismatched Order IDs, missing status, negative margins).
• Document:
  • Data sources & transformations.
  • KPI definitions (what exactly is “delivered”, “RTO”, “profit”).
  • How the dashboards are used by different teams.

• Nice to have
  • Experience with API data sources
  • COD / e-commerce background
  • Understanding of courier statuses and RTO logic
