About the role

In this role, you will be working in dedicated long-term involvement as a full-stack software engineer on a SaaS product in the event management space for European enterprises.
We love self-learners with an entrepreneurial itch and people who are actively working on side projects — we actively encourage taking initiative and driving innovation from within. We don't expect any 1 individual to tick all of the boxes below, nor do we expect an explicit number of years of experience. We do expect you to be curious and learn fast. 
 

Technical knowhow

We expect all software engineers in our team to take on a broad set of responsibilities, always acting in the interest of the product rather than simply sticking to the boundaries of any specific domain.
 

Core knowledge and abilities:

•Infrastructure: hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, grasping serverless principles and practices

•AI development: hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using frameworks like LangGraph, AI SDK, or similar tools, and working with LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)

•Architecture: ability to contribute to designing cloud diagrams and weighing the pros and cons of key decisions

•Programming frameworks: deep knowledge of at least one of the following: JS/TS (Node), Python (Django), .NET, PHP (Symfony), REST, Java

•Databases: extensive SQL experience and core understanding of various database types and their limitations

•Data modelling: turning defined business logic into comprehensible data structures

•CI/CD pipelines: setting up and managing deployment pipelines
 

Non-functionals:

•Automated testing: test-driven development using unit and integration tests as well as end-to-end tests

•Monitoring: error and performance monitoring with Sentry or similar services

•Stress testing: testing APIs and entire systems with heavy-load scenarios

•Security: you're aware of best practices to safeguard information security

The interview process

The interview process is short (but thorough) and will consist of 4 steps:

•Intro conversation (videocall): 20min conversation to validate your fit with the position and align on the approach for the technical interview

•Technical interview (on-site): you present a personal project or one of your prior involvements from end to end, with our team asking targeted questions

•Feedback (written/videocall): you will receive feedback about the technical conversation either in written form or through a call

•Contractual alignment (videocall): our operations manager will walk you through our overall compensation package and practical arrangement

We are looking for a Smart Contract Support Engineer to help maintain, expand, and enhance a large-scale multi-chain smart contract ecosystem within the EVM/API expansion team.

This role supports a leading cross-chain liquidity and bridging protocol that is scaling its smart contract infrastructure, currently operating 1500+ production contracts across 60+ EVM chains and several non-EVM environments. You will contribute to multi-chain deployments, bridge integrations, infrastructure improvements, and the automation of developer tooling as the ecosystem continues to grow.

The position focuses on supporting and extending the organization’s EVM-based smart contract infrastructure, including:
- Supporting the internal EVM/API expansion smart contract team
- Owning and delivering non-security-critical engineering tasks (no deployer key or multisig access required)

Requirements

• Strong experience with Solidity, TypeScript, and ideally bash scripting (approx. 3–5 years)
• Proficiency with Foundry (testing, deployment, debugging)
• Ideally: experience with many-chain deployments and bridge/DEX protocols
• Experience collaborating with external auditors or participating in audit preparation

Responsibilities

Multi-Chain Deployment Improvements

• Enhance bash scripts orchestrating multi-/many-chain deployments (including parallelization across 10+ chains)
• Ensure automatic contract verification works across all supported networks
• Assist in upgrading the codebase to the latest Foundry version

Bridge Integrations

• Research, evaluate, and document new bridge protocols
• Implement new facet or periphery contracts
• Collaborate with core engineers on reviews, testing, and production readiness

Smart Contract Enhancements

• Extend or modify existing contracts (e.g., new mappings, parameters, or functionality)
• Ensure modifications follow internal coding, security, and quality standards

Audit Preparation & Coordination

• Prepare and finalize PRs for external smart contract audits
• Communicate with auditors where needed and provide proposed resolutions for identified issues

Tooling & Automation

• Maintain and improve deployment and verification scripts across 60+ EVM chains
• Adjust and enhance GitHub CI/CD to support multi-chain workflows

Transaction & Bug Analysis

• Investigate failed on-chain transactions and provide initial diagnostics

Your Role

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll drive end-to-end development — from backend APIs and AI integrations to frontend features and UI delivery. You’ll collaborate directly with AI architects, product managers, and designers to craft scalable, high-performance systems.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of professional software development experience
Strong skills in Python (FastAPI preferred)
Solid experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
Proficiency with AWS services (Lambda, Cognito, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
Ability to design and scale RESTful APIs
Understanding of serverless and event-driven architectures
Experience integrating with or building AI/ML-powered features (RAG, LLMs, etc.)
Good communication skills and a proactive, startup-ready mindset

Nice to Have

Experience with video parsing, streaming, or playback
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
