About the Mission

We are building an AI-driven payments ecosystem designed to transform a $50B industry still dominated by slow, legacy processors. As Head of ISO, your mission is to architect, lead, and scale our merchant acquisition engine. You will set the commercial direction, build high-performing processes, and drive measurable revenue impact - first through hands-on execution, and then by leading automated, scalable systems you help define.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and launch the ISO function end-to-end: strategy, operating model, tooling, and execution;
• Own the full merchant pipeline: prospecting → qualification → underwriting coordination → negotiation → closing → onboarding/activation;

Job Description:

As the Senior Python Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a high-load microservices architecture with a focus on reliability, scalability, and exceptional code quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high availability, handling millions of transactions while maintaining robust system performance.
This role demands expertise in managing complex backend systems, optimizing performance under heavy load, and ensuring that the technical solutions align with high standards of quality and reliability.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of Experience in Python backend development, particularly with high-load systems and scalable microservices;Strong expertise in microservices architecture and technical patterns, with a focus on observability, logging (especially ELK stack), and proactive quality monitoring;
• Proficiency with one or more frameworks such as FastAPI, Tornado, AIOHTTP;
• Experience with AI-tool for accelerating software engineering (Compilot, AWS Q for Dev);
• Practical experience in developing AI agents, including orchestration, tool calling, memory, and workflow automation;
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, AWS AgentCore, and LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain;
• Advanced experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB) and ORMs;
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers, especially Apache Kafka (topics/partitions, consumer groups, delivery semantics, schema evolution);
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Python SDK (boto3), especially S3 and SQS,

We are a fast-growing eCommerce company (direct advertiser) operating in the nutra and eCommerce straight-sale (SS) space, focused on Tier-1 markets. Performance marketing is at the core of our growth, and Facebook is our primary acquisition channel.

We are currently looking for a Senior Media Buyer / Team Lead with deep, hands-on experience in Facebook advertising within the nutra vertical. This role is for someone who can own performance end-to-end: personally launching, scaling, and optimizing campaigns, while also leading, mentoring, and building a high-performing media buying team.

This will be the first media buying hire and a foundational role in the company. You will be responsible for setting up the entire media buying department from scratch, including infrastructure, workflows, tracking setup, testing frameworks, and best practices. As the team grows, you will define processes, hire and train new buyers, and establish a scalable performance culture.

You will be accountable for driving profitable growth, setting strategy, improving systems, and ensuring consistent results at scale. This is a key leadership position with direct impact on revenue, structure, and long-term direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and launch Facebook ad campaigns from scratch
• Take full ownership of lowering CPA and building a profitable in-house traffic acquisition system

• Help build, organize, and scale a media buying team of 5–10 people over time

   

  Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in media buying for the nutra vertical, mainly with Facebook Ads
• At least 1 year of experience leading or managing a media buying team
• Practical experience with account setup, scaling campaigns, and working in restricted or competitive ad environments (cloaking)
• Good analytical skills and the ability to work independently and build simple, effective processes
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership of results
• Ability to understand campaign data and make optimization decisions
• English level B2 or higher
