We’re looking for talented Full-Stack Developers to join our team and help us launch several new projects, as well as strengthen existing ones. For example, one of our upcoming projects is with a $1B+ Bay Area company that is revolutionizing home robotics, where we are helping them build a SaaS solution to manage their devices.

Please note that we welcome frontend and backend developers, not only full-stack. Don’t hesitate to apply — during the selection process, we’ll decide on the role together. That said, full-stack engineers are especially encouraged to apply.

    A Few Important Notes:
    - This vacancy covers 3–4 projects, and we’ll decide which one is the best fit for you based on your experience.

    - We offer a strong technical process and dozens of internal guidelines.

    - You’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues, but we also expect independence, ownership, and responsibility.

    - We offer excellent career growth opportunities — both vertical and horizontal. We want to grow together with you.

    Requirements:

We won’t be listing hundreds of libraries and frameworks here 🙂 — that’s pointless, right? What really matters:

    - A strong foundation in JavaScript. Be prepared to explain what functional programming is and its core concepts.

    - Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

    - Backend experience with Node.js using frameworks such as Fastify or NestJS (we rarely use Express in our organization).

    - Solid understanding of modern development practices, including clean code and CI/CD pipelines.

    - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Git, etc.).

    Important:
If you feel that you’re the right fit — don’t worry too much about the description. Let’s talk and see if this could work out. Including a short Loom video about yourself in your application, especially in English, would definitely be a plus.

At Salvato, we’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our growing product team.

This is not a management position.

We’re a fast-moving startup where every engineer writes code, makes decisions, and directly shapes the product.

We’re looking for a hands-on developer — someone who can dive into the codebase, ship features, and improve both backend and frontend systems with a sense of ownership and speed.
You’ll work across the stack: from designing APIs and database schemas to building React-based interfaces and improving user experience.

    About Salvato

Salvato is a U.S.-based startup co-founded by a Ukrainian entrepreneur.

We’re building a next-generation online auction platform for damaged vehicles, designed for insurance companies in the U.S.

We are a modern alternative to Copart and IAA — with faster processes, lower fees, better transparency, and a more modern technical stack.

We actively integrate with third-party services to speed up workflows and improve collaboration across the ecosystem.

    What You’ll Do

    • Build and maintain scalable backend systems.

    • Design APIs and integrate third-party services.

    • Optimize database structure, queries, and indexing.

    • Build modern user interfaces with React and Next.js.

    • Ensure smooth interaction between frontend and backend.

    • Participate in infrastructure, deployment, and CI/CD processes.

    • Work with caching, asynchronous flows, and high-load scenarios.

    • Follow best practices in engineering, security, and code quality.

    What We Expect

    • 6+ years of experience in full-stack development.
    • Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like Express, NestJS, or Koa.
    • Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
    • Deep knowledge of React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
    • Basic understanding of DevOps, containerization, and Docker.
    • Experience with NATS, Redis, or Kafka is a plus, not a requirement.
    • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, caching, async processing, and common auth methods (JWT, OAuth).
    • Awareness of web security best practices (OWASP, data protection).
    • Startup mindset — you write code, move fast, and deliver impact.

    What We Offer

    • Fully remote work — no trackers, no micromanagement.
    • Flexible schedule focused on outcomes, not hours.
    • Real product ownership — you’ll be part of the core team, not just executing tasks.
    • No outsourcing, no outstaffing — you’re a key member of our in-house product team.
    • Openness to initiative — your voice and ideas will matter.
    • Long-term collaboration — we’re building the team for the long run.
    • Competitive or above-market compensation based on your skills, ownership, and impact.
    • Transparent payment in USD, always on time.
    • Work as a contractor (FOP) — our only supported model.
    • Deep involvement in architecture, API design, UX, and even business logic.
    • Healthy, no-BS environment — minimal bureaucracy, fast and fair decisions.
    • Standard Ukrainian-style vacation and sick leave policy.

    Hiring Process

    1. Intro call (casual, non-technical)
    2. Technical interview
    3. Architectural and Behavior interview
    4. Final decision
