About the Role:
We are seeking a Product & BI Analyst to join a mission-driven team building innovative solutions that improve lives through AI and real-time data. In this role, you’ll turn data into actionable insights that shape product decisions, improve customer experience, and drive business impact.
You’ll work closely with the VP of Product and collaborate with teams across Product, R&D, Customer Success, and more. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of data, product, and strategy—perfect for someone who’s passionate about working with data that truly makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the BI domain: Lead company-wide analytics, define processes, and champion a data-driven culture.
- Enable data-driven teams: Partner with Product, Operations, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales to track KPIs, analyze performance, and uncover improvement opportunities.
- Turn data into impact: Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that shape product and business decisions.
- Define KPIs and data needs: Collaborate with Product and R&D to define success metrics, guide event implementation, and ensure relevant data sources and flows are in place.
- Design accessible reporting interfaces: Build intuitive dashboards and reports that provide easy access to key metrics and clearly surface insights for each stakeholder.
- Recommend the right tools: Evaluate and guide the selection of data tools that support evolving business needs.
Required Competence and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in a BI/Data/Product Analyst or similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment, working closely with product teams to define, track, and analyze KPIs
- Proven experience owning full-cycle product analytics processes, from data extraction to insight delivery.
- Strong SQL skills – ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data directly from large databases.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work with cross-functional teams—including senior leadership—and translate data into clear, business-relevant insights.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a self-starter mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments; comfortable juggling multiple data sources and requests.
- Hands-on ownership mindset, able to define data needs, shape the instrumentation process with R&D, and deliver complete, coherent, and user-friendly data products.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with Python - a big advantage
- Experience with Grafana for building real-time dashboards and monitoring is a strong advantage.

Metadata Management
Lead onboarding of data providers onto the Data Highway platform
Manage the complete onboarding process (end to end) of data dictionaries and related datasets related to the assigned applications
Develop a subject matter expertise on the data dictionaries, datasets and relationships between different datasets for the assigned applications
Ensure the data quality of data dictionaries and underlying datasets for the assigned applications. This will include working actively with data providers in resolving any conflicts, issues pertaining to data dictionaries, datasets available on Data Highway for the assigned applications
System Analysis
Develop deep functional knowledge on Data Highway suite of applications
Lead and drive the system improvements across the Data Highway's suite of applications
Develop detailed functional solution for the proposed enhancements and work with technology partners from implementation purposes
Develop detailed understanding of underlying data model for each of the above-mentioned applications
Work with UX/UI designers in case of any user interface-related requirements.
Develop and execute test cases pertaining to enhancements
Manage backlog of enhancements for the assigned module/sub-module within an application
Work diligently on resolving any production issues reported by business users
Coordinate with end users during UAT execution and work with development team to resolve any open issues in timely manner
Work with release management team to ensure all the planned items are released as per release plan
User Engagement and Operational Process Improvement
Engage users at all levels i.e. data providers, business users, stake-holders
Conduct user trainings, demos on Data Highway suite of applications when required
Actively seek user feedback on the features they use with the goal of getting a sense of any user experience issue, potential enhancements/improvements
Provide monthly updates to senior management team on the current state of their assigned applications, enhancements/improvements
Strive to make the overall process more efficient either by proposing any potential automations or building new capabilities within the Data Highway suite of applications
Skills
Must have
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or relevant 5+ years of experience
Proven experience in a technical BA position
Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
Practical experience in both reading and documenting functional requirements
Solid SQL knowledge.
Data modeling knowledge. Should be comfortable in understanding data model either via an ER diagram or reading through data dictionaries.
Good Excel knowledge. Should be comfortable performing vlook ups, creating pivot tables.
Self-starter attitude and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Team-player and ability to build strong working relationships amongst diverse peers
Prior experience working with APIs, and/or Kafka data streaming.
Nice to have
Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science
Enterprise data governance experience specially around creating/maintaining data catalog, data dictionaries, identifying data lineage across multiple applications
