    Position Summary:
    The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs (both internal and client-facing) and our technology solutions. You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, and documenting business, organizational, and/or operational requirements. Working closely with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, software developers, QA testers, and subject matter experts, you will ensure that our IT solutions effectively meet business objectives and deliver value. 

     

    Required qualifications and skills:

    • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an IT services, software development, or technology consulting environment.
    • Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management.
    • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).
    • Proficiency with BA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio (or similar diagramming tools), and requirements management software.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
    • Exceptional communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements and vice versa.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

    3. Stakeholder management and communication:

    • Act as a primary liaison between clients and technical teams during the project.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and project goals.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively communicate changes, risks, and issues.

    4. Solution Design and validation:

    • Collaborate with technical experts and developers to define and design solutions.
    • Support the QA team by clarifying requirements, reviewing test cases, and assisting with defect triage.
    • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution, ensuring solutions meet user needs.

    5. Project and process support:

    As a Business Analyst, you will be a key part of our new ground control station team to improve the capabilities and usability of our VTOL systems.

    You will take an empowering role: pushing the boundaries of drone technologies.

    You will be working closely with stakeholders from the GCS, Flight Control, AI, and System Test departments to improve and extend our ground control station software.

    With the product ownership of features for our ground control station, you'll support Quantum Systemsβ€˜ mission to transform decision-making processes through aerial data intelligence.
     

    What is your Day to Day Mission:

    • Owning and managing the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and business needs
    • Prioritizing and refining backlog, defining clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements
    • Working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement product improvements
    • Ensuring the product integrates smoothly with third-party tools, internal business platforms, and other enterprise solutions
    • Defining and tracking product KPIs, analyzing data to drive feature adoption, user engagement, and system efficiency
    • Leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring development efforts are focused and efficient
    • Acting as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements
    • Staying up to date with industry trends and competitor solutions, identifying ways to enhance the platform
    • Working with UX/UI designers to enhance GCS usability, ensuring an intuitive experience for all users

    What you bring to the team:

    • You have 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager
    • You are experienced in managing product roadmaps, defining requirements, and prioritizing features based on business impact
    • You can translate business needs into technical requirements and work effectively with development teams
    • You are familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in cross-functional teams
    • You have strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive data-backed decision-making
    • You are experienced in API integrations
    • You have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across different departments
    • You are experienced using JIRA, Confluence, or other product management tools
