About the Role:

You will join a central DevOps organization tasked with defining best practices, creating guidelines, and embedding a DevOps culture across global R&D teams. As Principal DevOps, you own the end-to-end design, implementation, and operation of large-scale, complex environments that ensure seamless scalability, resilience, and optimal performance. You will spearhead cross-organizational projects—such as multi-cluster Kubernetes upgrades, CI/CD redesigns, and new infrastructure rollouts—driving each initiative from research and solution design through implementation and validation. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute cross-functional DevOps projects from concept through production rollout.
• Define, document, and enforce DevOps best practices, standards, and guidelines.

Required Competence and Skills:

• Experience designing CI/CD solution architectures aligned to development and business needs.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure and operations: storage, networking, compute, and cloud security (Azure preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and at least one programming language (Python preferred) for automation.
