Description

GlobalLogic is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join a dedicated team delivering a high-fidelity medical technology platform. In this role, you will implement and maintain automated testing suites for a suite of products across frontend, backend platforms. You will work within a highly regulated environment, ensuring that all software changes meet strict quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: 4+ years of experience in software test automation and quality engineering.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with modern tech stacks, including Python-based services, Node.js, and Vue.js.
• Automation Tools: Practical knowledge of Vitest and Playwright for web applications, and experience with legacy Selenium environments.
• Performance Engineering: Experience using Grafana and k6 for performance benchmarking and load testing.
• Regulated Industry Knowledge: Experience delivering software within a regulated framework (e.g., healthcare or medical devices) is highly preferred.
• Backlog Execution: Strong ability to manage testing tasks within a prioritized project backlog.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with distributed technical teams.

Job responsibilities

• Automation Implementation: Develop and maintain automated regression suites under the guidance of the Lead Test Automation Engineer.
• Framework Modernization: Contribute to the transition from legacy Selenium testing toward modern frameworks such as Vitest and Playwright.
• Performance Testing: Execute load and stress testing using Grafana k6 to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Quality Analysis: Perform quality analysis for regulated product changes to ensure compliance with medical standards.
• Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback on code quality.
• Bug Documentation: Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the engineering team to ensure timely remediation.
• Infrastructure Support: Support testing for the migration of software components to new orchestration environments.
