Product Owner

We are looking for a Product Owner to join Proxet to lead the development of the new application for our customer. The Product Owner serves as the primary bridge between stakeholders and the development team. You will be responsible for understanding user needs, translating them into clear product requirements, and ensuring the delivery of solutions that align with both regulatory requirements and institutional priorities.
You will own the product backlog, guide feature prioritization, and shape the future evolution of the product through close collaboration with stakeholders, developers, customers, and end users.

Project focuses on delivering a seamless digital experience for customers and end users within the Customer’s ecosystem. The goal is to build and evolve a platform that balances operational priorities, technical feasibility, and compliance needs while acting as the "voice of the customer" throughout the development lifecycle.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner on software delivery teams (Agile/Scrum/Kanban);
  • Experience in Delivery/Transportation/Logistics domains.
  • Proven experience owning a product backlog end-to-end from discovery through delivery, UAT, and release support;
  • Strong skills in facilitating prioritization and alignment meetings with leadership and external customers (Stakeholder Management);
  • Expertise in identifying pain points through workshops, interviews, and observations to create actionable requirements (Requirements Elicitation);
  • Proficiency in documenting requirements via epics, features, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria (Documentation);
  • Experience defining and maintaining product roadmaps aligned with engineering leadership (Strategic Planning);
  • Strong ability to provide functional clarifications and ongoing guidance to development and QA teams (Analytical Skills);

  • Familiarity with Human-Centered Design and Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) frameworks

     

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Representation
    Serve as the primary contact for customers, end users, and internal departments.
    Facilitate weekly prioritization meetings with product leadership to align on upcoming work.
  • Requirements & Backlog Ownership
    Translate customer needs into clear, actionable delivery items (epics, stories, and acceptance criteria).
    Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog based on platform strategy and user input.
    Ensure all tickets include necessary business context and functional/non-functional details.
  • Sprint & Roadmap Planning
    Define and maintain the product roadmap in alignment with leadership.
    Collaborate with development and QA teams during sprint planning to define scope and priorities.
    Participate in backlog grooming to ensure implementation readiness.
  • Testing, Release & Improvement
    Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders to validate compliance and functionality.
    Support release planning and ensure all user-facing changes are documented and communicated.
    Gather post-release feedback to track usability concerns and refine product priorities.
