Purpose of the Role: Turn observations from global social content into clear creative briefs for the execution team, grounded in performance data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative concepts for social media
• Track what works in social globally — and specifically within defense tech / dual-use (peer companies, allied and adversary content) — and turn those observations into ideas for the brand
• Write creative briefs for designers, copywriters, photographers, and videographers, and review delivered work against them
• Own the brand's Threads presence — you write and publish directly

- Analytics & Dashboards: Experience with end-to-end analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, Meta, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets).

Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Execution & Initiative Development:
- Decomposing the global SMM strategy into actionable roadmaps and tactical plans for the geo's and subordinate units.
- Defining and setting KPIs, OKRs, ensuring goal alignment across all team.
- Generating, providing business justification for, and pitching new initiatives, special projects, and tests.
- Continuously scouting the market and analyzing competitors to implement innovative approaches and formats within the teams.
2. Unit Economics & ROI Management:
- Tactical management of the allocated budget: distributing funds based on their performance and task priority.
- Strict monitoring of business, SMM metrics and audience acquisition, retention costs.
- Making data-driven decisions on scaling or pausing campaigns based on consolidated analytics provided by the Team.
- Preparing financial and resource justifications for the Head of SMM when requesting budget expansions, new hires, or software procurement.
3. Middle Management Leadership & Process Architecture:
- Direct supervision of Managers and Specialists: conducting regular 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and assessing the management effectiveness of their respective subgroups.
- Developing the leadership skills of subordinate Managers, providing mentorship, and assisting in resolving complex team conflicts or escalations.
- With Project Manager designing and optimizing internal business processes: developing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and SLAs (Service Level Agreements) between SMM units and cross-functional departments.
- Ensuring a balanced workload across team and monitoring macro-level deadlines (without micromanaging individual execution).
4. High-Level Quality Assurance (QA) & Brand Safety:
- Implementing and maintaining QA systems for content and communications (conducting high-level audits of unit outputs for Tone of Voice and Visual ID compliance).
- Managing reputational risks (Brand Safety): ensuring teams strictly adhere to crisis response and community management protocols.
5. Analytics & Management Reporting:
- Consolidating performance data from the team into a unified, transparent dashboard system.
- Conducting deep-dive analyses of anomalies (both sudden metric drops and spikes) to identify root causes and patterns.
- Preparing regular executive reports for the Head of SMM, including key takeaways, performance forecasts, and strategic optimization proposals.
