    This is a hands-on senior-level position where you will lead high-impact infrastructure initiatives, quickly dive into existing architecture, identify systemic issues, and deliver practical, well-documented improvements within a defined timeframe.

    You will work closely with engineering, platform, security, and product teams to reduce operational risk and support scalable growth.

    The position requires availability for evening meetings with a Canada-based team (up to 12:00 AM, GMT+2).

    What will you do?
     

    β€’ Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure;
    β€’ Lead key DevOps and platform initiatives, including CI/CD modernization, GitOps adoption, and zero-downtime deployments;
    β€’ Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure releases;
    β€’ Identify and address technical debt, scalability challenges, and operational risks;
    β€’ Enhance observability, monitoring, and incident response across production systems;

    Requirements
     

    β€’ Strong experience designing, building, and operating modern CI/CD pipelines, including GitOps approaches (ArgoCD, Flux, or similar);
    β€’ Deep hands-on expertise with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK;
    β€’ Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS or similar), Helm;
    β€’ Strong programming skills in Python or Go for automation, tooling, and infrastructure workflows;
    β€’ Expert-level knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems administration and Git;
    β€’ Advanced understanding of cloud networking (VPC design, DNS, routing, service mesh) and cloud security (IAM, threat modeling, compliance automation);
    β€’ Solid experience with observability, monitoring, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and/or Datadog;
    β€’ Ability to quickly understand complex systems and deliver impactful improvements within a limited contract timeframe.
