We're looking for a 3D Artist for Roblox projects who can fully own the 3D side of a title.

You will be the only 3D artist on the project, responsible for environments, characters/creatures, props, rigging, animation, asset import, and optimization in Roblox Studio.

Code and UI design are handled internally — we need someone who can take a written specification and deliver the complete 3D side of the game.

Tech Stack:

• Blender — modeling, UVs, rigging, animation, baking
• Roblox Studio — MeshParts, SurfaceAppearance/PBR, MaterialVariants, terrain, lighting
• FBX → Roblox pipeline — skinned meshes, deform-only export, maximum 4 bone influences per vertex
• Substance Painter / Photoshop / Krita — textures and baking
• AI 3D and texture generation — Meshy, Hyper3D-Rodin, Hunyuan3D, and similar tools — required

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of professional 3D game development experience
• A portfolio demonstrating a stylized low-poly / cartoon art style
• Clean topology, sensible UVs, and the ability to maintain a consistent art style and defined color palette
• Experience baking procedural/toon materials into textures using Cycles/Eevee and building materials for Roblox
• Rigging and skinning experience:
  • bone-based rigs
  • squash & stretch
  • deformation without scaling bones
  • looped animations such as idle, jump, and reaction
• Strong understanding of performance budgets:
  • polygon count
  • texture size and quantity
  • draw calls
  • CollisionFidelity / RenderFidelity
  • assets must perform well on mobile devices
• Environment art experience:
  • building complete themed locations
  • terrain
  • islands/biomes
  • props and decoration
  • readable silhouettes and strong composition
• AI-first workflow — you use AI to generate base shapes and textures, then refine and finish them manually. Manually blocking out assets from scratch when AI can handle the initial work is considered unnecessary overhead.

Responsibilities:

• Own the entire 3D production of a title:
  • themed environment set
  • roster of creatures/characters and variations
  • props and decorative assets
• Create rigs and looped animations for creatures
• Export and import assets into Roblox Studio, including checking:
  • scale
  • orientation
  • materials
  • deformation
• Optimize and reuse assets through:
  • modular kits
  • shared texture atlases
  • color/material variations instead of creating new meshes
• Work from a written specification and deliver the result already assembled and tested in Roblox Studio, not just a collection of .blend files
• Work in short, fixed release cycles — the complete art pass for a title should fit within a single cycle, with the next title already in the pipeline

• either a creature with a rig and looped animation
• or a small environment set

The final result must be imported and properly assembled in Roblox Studio.

We're looking for a Roblox Gameplay Scripter to own the development of a game from an empty project to a published and monetized title.

You'll be the sole gameplay developer on the project. Art, UI/UX, icons, and marketing are handled by our internal team—you'll focus on building the game according to a detailed written specification.
