Our Chrome/Edge extension is a core part of the clinician's daily workflow. It lives alongside Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, capturing data and providing real-time AI suggestions. We need a high-level specialist to lead the development of this extension, ensuring it remains robust against external site changes and maintains strict medical-grade security. Part of your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Lead the architecture and development of our browser extensions using Manifest V3.

- Build sophisticated content scripts that reliably scrape and interact with dynamic EHR platforms.

- Manage complex background logic using Service Workers for session lifecycle management.

- Ensure the extension’s React-based UI (popups and overlays) is high-performance and non-intrusive.

- Implement secure, cross-context messaging between content scripts, service workers, and the main web app.

- Develop robust "DOM observers" to handle updates on third-party sites without breaking functionality.

- Collaborate effectively with multiple R&D teams on large, mature extension projects, contributing to a shared, scalable codebase.

- Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks to continuously monitor extension performance, detect regressions, and measure the impact on browsers and external systems.

- Establish best practices for performance, security, and maintainability in large-scale, multi-team extension projects.

Experience:
• Strong production experience on AWS (Lambda, ECS, Aurora or RDS, and the surrounding services)
• Deep PostgreSQL: schema design, query performance, and hands-on experience with row-level security or another rigorous approach to multi-tenant data isolation
• TypeScript fluency on the server side
• Experience designing event-driven or streaming systems (SQS, Kinesis, WebSocket, or equivalent)
• A track record of operating production services: metrics, tracing, alerting, on-call response

Nice to Have:
• LLM integration in production: prompt engineering, streaming inference, latency and cost optimization
• Real-time audio or TTS pipelines
• B2B multi-tenant authentication (Stytch, Auth0, Cognito, or similar)

This role is perfect for someone who loves testing, documenting flows, and catching issues before they reach production.

What You Will Do

• Manually test web applications, dashboards, and user flows
• Document bugs clearly and reproduce reliably
• Validate new features before release
• Do smoke-testing for production deployments

Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer. This is not a standard ETL role. You will work on a high-load system processing 10,000+ executions per minute, building scalable pipelines where AI and LLM logic are embedded directly into production data flows.

The role combines data engineering, backend thinking, infrastructure ownership, and real production AI integration.

What you will do:

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines in Python on Google Cloud Platform
• Build and optimize AI-driven scoring flows using LLMs for real-time identity enrichment
• Work with BigQuery, Apache Spark, and Apache Iceberg for heavy data processing
• Maintain high-load orchestration with custom Python nodes and complex workflows
• Own deployment and release processes (CI/CD)
• Optimize PostgreSQL performance under heavy load
• Investigate incidents and resolve root causes permanently

• Use AI engineering tools such as Claude in daily development

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Backend Engineering
• Strong Python skills
• Commercial experience with production LLM integration (OpenAI / Anthropic / Gemini)
• Strong knowledge of GCP (Cloud Functions, IAM, Networking)
• Experience with BigQuery, Spark, Iceberg
• Good understanding of Kubernetes
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (n8n is a strong plus)
• Strong practical knowledge of PostgreSQL
