We are a growing private label brand operating on Amazon in the cosmetics and supplements niches. The company has been on the market for over 7 years and is actively expanding its presence, including social media, creator content, and external traffic channels for the US market.

πŸš€ About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior E-commerce SMM Lead with a strong background in promoting physical products in the US market.

In this role, you will build and lead the brand’s social media presence across key platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You will be responsible for developing the SMM strategy, shaping the brand’s positioning, and connecting marketing goals with our internal Production Department β€” a β€œcontent factory” that includes a creative manager and a team of around 15 creators.

This role is a great fit for someone who combines creative thinking, strong understanding of US social media trends, e-commerce mindset, and data-driven decision-making.

⏳ Employment: Full-time (part-time format can also be considered)

πŸ” Requirements

βœ… 2–3+ years of experience as an SMM Lead / Senior SMM / Social Media Manager in e-commerce projects.
βœ… Hands-on experience with physical products, preferably for the US market.
βœ… Experience with Amazon brands, DTC brands, beauty, wellness, supplements, or consumer goods will be a strong advantage.
βœ… Strong understanding of US social media platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
βœ… Ability to analyze Western trends, viral formats, sounds, challenges, hooks, and content mechanics.
βœ… Strong understanding of the American consumer, content style, tone, and social media behavior.
βœ… English level B2 or higher β€” ability to write captions, evaluate English-language UGC, understand slang, and work with US-style content.
βœ… Experience working closely with creative, production, or UGC teams.
βœ… Ability to create clear briefs, guide creators, review content, and maintain brand consistency.
βœ… Strong analytical mindset: ability to track metrics, test content hypotheses, and optimize content based on data.
βœ… Creativity combined with structure, ownership, and result-oriented thinking.

πŸ“Œ SMM strategy and positioning

❇️ Develop and implement the brand’s SMM strategy for key platforms: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
❇️ Define the brand’s visual direction, communication style, and Tone of Voice for the US market.
❇️ Build a content strategy that supports brand awareness, engagement, trust, and external traffic growth.
❇️ Analyze competitors, niche leaders, and successful US e-commerce brands.
❇️ Monitor current Western trends, viral formats, sounds, challenges, and platform updates.

🎬 Creative direction and UGC content

❇️ Work closely with the internal Production Department, including the creative manager and a team of creators.
❇️ Generate creative ideas and participate in regular brainstorming sessions.
❇️ Develop creative concepts, content angles, hooks, scenarios, and detailed briefs for content makers.
❇️ Review, select, and approve final UGC content before publication.
❇️ Ensure all content matches the brand’s visual standards, Tone of Voice, and marketing goals.
❇️ Adapt content ideas for different platforms and formats: short-form videos, Reels, TikToks, Shorts, stories, and posts.

πŸ“ˆ Traffic, funnel, and analytics

❇️ Drive targeted external traffic from social media to Amazon listings.
❇️ Build content funnels that warm up the audience and move users from awareness to purchase intent.
❇️ Track and analyze key metrics: ER, Reach, CTR, video retention, profile visits, link clicks, and conversions to traffic.
❇️ Optimize the content plan based on data, performance insights, and audience behavior.
❇️ Understand how social media traffic can support Amazon growth; experience with Amazon Attribution will be a strong plus.
❇️ Test different content hypotheses and scale the formats that perform best.

❇️ Build and grow a loyal brand community across social media platforms.
❇️ Develop activities to increase engagement: contests, giveaways, challenges, polls, and interactive formats.
