As a Node.js Engineer in the Launch Team, you’ll power the backend behind the Digital Onboarding. Our mission is to ensure Solidgate works with compliant merchants while making the onboarding experience fast, seamless, and scalable.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing a flexible compliance rule engine. You’ll help design a rule engine capable of supporting multiple regulatory frameworks while remaining flexible and easy to adapt as policies change. The system should also be able to detect when rule updates require re-evaluating previously approved merchants and trigger the appropriate compliance workflows.
• Building systems with full traceability. We operate on highly sensitive compliance data, where transparency and accountability are essential. You’ll build systems that provide end-to-end auditability, ensuring every action can be traced.
• Ensuring reliability of mission-critical services. The data produced by this platform powers multiple downstream systems, including financial settlement processes and banking integrations used to open MIDs for merchants. You’ll work on building services that are highly available, durable, and resilient, ensuring the reliability of critical business operations.
• Leveraging AI for smarter document processing. You’ll help introduce GenAI-powered capabilities to streamline document processing and verification flows, reducing manual work for compliance teams and significantly accelerating merchant onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI pipelines to ingest and process document knowledge bases (regulations, contract templates, legal frameworks) and generate structured rules and logic
• Develop document understanding features: summarization, classification, party identification, payment terms, key dates, and required actions from uploaded PDFs
• Implement document state analysis — execution status detection, document categorization, follow-up identification
• Contribute across the deal intelligence stack: contract creation, e-signing workflows, payment triggers, file management, and compliance tracking
• Work autonomously and communicate proactively — own features end-to-end

To support this transformation, we are looking for an Internal Systems Product Owner who will lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of our core internal systems infrastructure, focusing on the strategic deployment of Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM.

This role will be critical in ensuring that our financial, sales, and operational systems capture the data and metrics required to support scalable growth and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The position is fully remote (Ukraine / Eastern Europe).

What you will do

• Own and lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM modules.
• Work closely with Finance, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications for the development team.
• Design and implement reporting frameworks and dashboards that capture SaaS, financial, sales, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure that all internal systems support the company’s transition to a metrics-driven operational model.
• Manage and mentor a team of three internal specialists, prioritizing tasks and driving execution.
• Oversee the stability, data integrity, and reliability of financial and sales systems.

• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency through additional software tools.

   

What you will need

• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM (required).
• 5+ years of professional experience working with financial systems, CRM systems, system consulting, or technical product management.
• Strong understanding of how financial processes (AP/AR, General Ledger, Consolidation) and sales processes (pipeline management, sales activity tracking) are structured within ERP systems.
• Experience designing reporting systems for SaaS sales and operational KPIs.
• Experience leading projects or managing small teams.
• Strong professional English communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a complete inventory of company systems and assets, including:

• Ensure proper access management across all systems:
  • Apply the principle of least privilege
  • Review and revoke unnecessary permissions
  • Monitor shared accounts and external access
• Conduct periodic access audits for:
  • Cloud environments
  • Databases
  • Google Drive and internal documentation
  • SaaS tools and integrations
• Identify and mitigate security risks related to AI tools, including:
  • Preventing sensitive data from being uploaded to AI platforms
  • Managing access to AI tools
  • Creating safe usage policies
• Work with engineering and operations teams to:
  • Improve security practices
  • Document access processes
  • Maintain internal security guidelines
• Track and manage security risks from third-party services
• Assist with security documentation and compliance processes (e.g., SOC2 or internal security policies).

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts
• Experience managing SaaS ecosystems (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
• Understanding of data security risks and access control
• Ability to analyze system permissions and identify unnecessary access
• Awareness of AI-related security risks (data leakage, prompt injection, uncontrolled usage)
• Understanding web development pipeline and security in it

Nice to Have

• Experience with SOC 2 / security compliance
• Familiarity with IAM tools or security monitoring platforms
• Background in DevOps, IT administration, or security operations
