Media Acquisition Specialist
PRNEWS.IO is an international platform for publishing content across online media worldwide.
We are looking for a Media Acquisition Specialist to help us expand our global media partner network, build long-term partnerships with publishers, and optimize and automate media acquisition workflows.
This is a role at the intersection of Media Partnerships, Outreach, SEO, Digital Marketing and Automation.
What you will do:
- Search for and attract new media partners worldwide.
- Research and evaluate potential publishers and websites.
- Analyze websites using SEO metrics, traffic, domain quality and competitor data.
- Work with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Similarweb and Screaming Frog.
- Maintain and analyze large datasets of websites and media partners.
- Use Google Sheets / Excel and Google Apps Script to structure, process and automate data-related tasks.
- Build and improve workflows using n8n, APIs, webhooks and other automation tools.
- Communicate with publishers via email, LinkedIn, messengers and calls.
- Conduct negotiations and agree on partnership and commercial terms.
- Prepare and launch outreach and cold email campaigns.
- Process inbound responses and support new partners during onboarding.
- Identify repetitive and time-consuming tasks and find ways to automate and optimize them using AI and digital tools.
- Use ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools for research, data processing, content-related tasks and workflow optimization.
- Prepare reports, analyze performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with Sales and Media Success teams.
What we expect:
- 2+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, outreach, link building, media, partnerships, sales or a related field.
- English B2+ / Upper-Intermediate+ — confident written and spoken English for daily communication, negotiations and calls with international partners.
- Practical experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Similarweb, Screaming Frog or similar platforms.
- Understanding of SEO metrics, website quality, traffic and backlink data.
- Confident use of Google Sheets / Excel; experience with formulas and data processing is important.
- Experience with Google Apps Script, n8n, APIs, webhooks, Python or JavaScript is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of how to connect tools and automate repetitive workflows.
- Practical experience with AI tools and AI-assisted automation is a strong advantage.
- Experience in outreach, link building, lead generation, partnerships or sales is a plus.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Ability to work with large amounts of information and find ways to make processes more efficient.
