Chief Sales Officer Offline
We’re looking for a visionary Chief Sales Officer to take Raccoon Gang’s growth to the next level. As CSO, you’ll lead a high-performing sales team, connect the dots between Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. If scaling revenue, shaping strategy, and making a global impact in online education around the world excite you, this role is for you!

Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in B2B IT sales, including 5+ years in leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing a sales strategy, including ICP definition, pipeline building, KPIs, forecasting, etc.
• Strong ability to build long-term relationships with clients and partners.
• Proven success record in scaling and/or building sales teams, including hiring, mentoring, and goal setting.
• Successful experience of attending conferences, summits, etc.
• Understanding of marketing in the IT sphere.
• Strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking with strong execution skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English (Upper-Intermediate or higher) — confident in communication, negotiation, and closing deals.
Will be a plus:
• Experience in the EdTech domain.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Team Performance
- Lead, grow, and inspire the global sales organization.
- Define and execute revenue growth strategies tied to company OKRs.
- Instill a results-driven, collaborative culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
- Act as a mentor to sales leaders and top performers.
Strategic Positioning & Value Communication
- Redefine and communicate Raccoon Gang’s value proposition as a strategic partner and advisor, not just an implementation vendor.
- Ensure that all client-facing materials, pitches, and conversations convey strategic insight, long-term value, and domain expertise.
- Train sales teams to shift language and proposals toward consultative engagement models.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work with Marketing, Lead Gen, and Delivery teams to develop targeted campaigns that reflect Raccoon Gang’s strategic services and value proposition.
- Drive account growth, focusing on value realization and upsell opportunities by leading the Customer Success team and collaborating with pre-sales, Delivery, ID, Engineering, and other teams.
- Coordinate with Delivery and Product teams to align messaging and execution with client outcomes.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop clear segmentation and account-based strategies tailored to EdTech institutions and enterprise clients.
- Continuously improve funnel metrics, pipeline visibility, and forecasting accuracy.
- Introduce and scale tools and practices to support consultative selling and long-term client engagement.
Evangelism, Open Source & Community Engagement
- Be a vocal evangelist of Raccoon Gang’s brand, speaking at EdTech events, contributing thought leadership, and growing presence in key communities.
- Build relationships with strategic partners, institutional leaders, and influencers in the eLearning domain.
- Champion the company’s involvement in the open source ecosystem and relevant professional communities, especially within Open edX.
Revenue Growth & Forecasting
- Own revenue targets across new business and expansion from existing accounts.
- Improve sales planning, forecasting, and pricing strategy to reflect value-based consulting models.
- Identify and secure strategic accounts that align with long-term company vision.
Sales Team Development
- Build a world-class sales team with strong consultative capabilities.
- Establish onboarding and coaching frameworks to develop deep industry knowledge and strategic thinking.
- Implement compensation plans that reward long-term value creation, not just short-term wins.
