Requirements

• Strong experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery or comparable cloud data warehouses.
• Proven ability to build and operate data pipelines in production environments.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience working with containerized environments, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of modern ELT workflows and analytics engineering practices.
• Experience using dbt or similar data transformation frameworks.
• Background supporting customer-facing analytics products.
• Exposure to AI and machine learning data workflows.
• Experience implementing monitoring and alerting for production systems.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts, such as Terraform.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll work as part of the Wix CTO Office team, researching problems that can give Wix’s products a competitive edge across various challenges. A key focus of the team is on Agents over LLMs, exploring new techniques for building agents and developing innovative products that leverage them.  

In your day-to-day, you will:  

• Build POCs for research projects led by the team  
• Evaluate results and provide actionable insights  
• Collaborate with different teams at Wix to advance their agent implementations

Requirements

• Creativity and willingness to tackle ambitious, high-risk problems  
• 3+ years of experience in working on production code with active users

We are Wix's Data Science CTO Office team, a small group of researchers and engineers. We collaborate with various groups at Wix and the CEO on innovative research projects. Your future responsibilities:

• Collecting, analyzing and documenting software requirements
• Collaborate with business owners to clarify their requirements for new or enhanced business processes/products
• Prepare specification documents for approved decisions
• Develop a system level view to ensure consistency in requirements

• Explore integration points with external/internal systems and help development teams with integration
