    We're looking for a hands-on Test & Field Engineer to support system deployments and field validation across Kyiv region. 

     

    Our client develops next-gen autonomous systems for defense and industrial use, designed to operate in GNSS-denied and complex environments. Backed by leading global investors, the team’s first productβ€”a breakthrough aerial navigation systemβ€”is already being tested in Ukraine for mission-critical scenarios. The founding team brings deep expertise from top U.S. tech and defense companies and works closely with Ukrainian partners to address real-world operational needs.

     

    What you'll do in your role:

    You’ll work directly with UAV teams and defense partners to integrate, test, and debug autonomous navigation systems. Your feedback from the field will help shape the future of the product. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to work at the forefront of real-world autonomy.
     

    What we’re looking for:

    • Based in Kyiv, with the ability to travel regularly across the region by car
    • Comfortable working directly with Ukrainian UAV manufacturers and military personnel
    • Hands-on experience with electronics, including connectors, power systems, and voltage protection
    • Experience working with the Linux command line and basic debugging of embedded systems
    • Familiarity with integration interfaces like UART, I2C, MAVLink
    • Strong documentation and organizational skills
    • Able to operate independently in field environments, often without close supervision
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering (Master’s a plus)
    • Fluent in Ukrainian, and strong written and spoken English
    • Valid driver’s license and access to transportation

     

    How to knock our socks off:

    • Familiarity with PX4, ArduPilot, or other autopilot systems
    • Experience with Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson, or similar embedded platforms
    • Knowledge of ROS, Docker, or AWS is helpful
    • Programming experience in C++ or Python is a plus
    • Experience operating or testing drones (e.g., DJI systems)
    • Naming five or more dishes that include Beetroot, besides borshch ;)
