    Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing tech team. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our cloud-based platforms.

    You will be responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring systems, and supporting deployment environments for our mobile and web apps, IoT integrations, and thrid-party channels. Planning and executing a infrastructure migration from DigitalOcean to either AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

    Key Responsibilities

    Infrastructure & Deployment

    • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).
    • Lead the migration of existing infrastructure and services from DigitalOcean to AWS or GCP, ensuring zero or minimal downtime.
    • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) for smooth build, test, and deployment flows.
    • Support microservices and container-based architecture using Docker and Kubernetes.

    Security & Compliance

    • Implement and manage security protocols, access controls, and data protection measures across environments.
    • Regularly perform vulnerability assessments and work with developers to remediate risks.

    Monitoring & Reliability

    • Deploy and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Sentry).
    • Ensure high uptime and fast rollback procedures in case of outages or failed deployments.
    • Support performance tuning and capacity planning.

    Collaboration & Support

    • Work closely with backend developers and QA to support dev/test environments and improve deployment workflows.
    • Create and maintain clear operational documentation, runbooks, and system architecture diagrams.
    • Participate in sprint planning and release readiness checks.

    Required Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
    • Demonstrated experience in cloud migration projects.
    • Strong hands-on experience with:
      • Cloud providers (AWS or GCP preferred)
      • CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
      • Docker and Kubernetes
      • Monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
      • IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.)
    • Solid understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, and Linux server administration.
    • Familiarity with Node.js/React-based environments and relational DBs (PostgreSQL).
    • Experience supporting mobile/web platforms in production environments.
    • Proficient in English (written/spoken); able to document and communicate clearly.
