Role Overview

As a Lead Backend Developer, you will oversee the backend development team, ensuring high-quality code, system stability, and efficient debugging. You’ll be responsible for production system performance, architecture decisions, and issue resolution, working closely with DevOps and other teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the backend development team, ensuring best practices and code quality
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using NestJS and TypeScript

• Incident Response Ownership: Act as the escalation point during critical incidents, providing guidance, ensuring timely resolution, and communicating impact and progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Post-Incident Review: Lead or contribute to post-mortem analyses after major incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures in collaboration with DevOps, QA, and engineering teams.
• System Readiness Oversight: Ensure services owned by the team meet operational readiness criteria, including monitoring, alerting, documentation, and automated recovery mechanisms.

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with 3+ years in Node.js/NestJS

• You have a deep understanding of embedded systems and you are a senior in designing, implementing and optimizing embedded systems.
• You have strong knowledge of microcontrollers (ARM, Cortex-M), real-time operating systems and hardware and communication interfaces  interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, ETH ...)
• You are experienced with real-time operating systems like FreeRTOS or uCOS II and knowledge of multi-threading, task scheduling, and inter-task communication.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join and strengthen our growing team. You’ll work on backend systems that power scalable, high-performance applications — including those with AI components. 
 

What you'll do:

-Design and develop reliable, maintainable, and scalable backend systems in Python.

-Drive the architecture of new features and systems, making key technical decisions.

-Lead integration of AI components (e.g., LLMs, LangChain, vector databases).
-Collaborate across teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs.

-Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.

-Participate in DevOps processes (CI/CD, monitoring, cloud deployment).

Requirements:
