We are currently looking for a Robotics Engineer who will help us develop and refine the hardware PoC for a cloud-connected robot assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate hardware components for the RoboticsByChat PoC** based on Raspberry Pi.
Implement logic for:
- Button-triggered interaction (robot recognizes when it will be asked questions).
- Internet-based connectivity (preferably Wi-Fi) to access cloud LLM/AI chatbot functionality.
- Ensure seamless communication between the robot and cloud-based LLM services (all AI logic is processed in the cloud).
- Implement basic attention/interaction features:
Head movement
Hand movement
Digital eyes animation
Optimize and debug hardwareβsoftware interaction on the robot side.
Collaborate with cloud engineers, AI specialists, and the global team to ensure smooth integration.
Participate in discussions, propose improvements, and contribute to the evolution of the PoC into a scalable solution.
