Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with a focus on automation and manual testing. The role involves ensuring product quality across functional and API, as well as maintaining and improving automated test coverage. You will also have an opportunity to leverage AI tools to support test creation and improve QA processes. The company operates in the FinTech industry and specializes in alternative investments.

Role Responsibilities

• The role may involve up to 40–50% manual testing, while the rest will be focused on test automation, including AI-generated tests where appropriate. The exact balance may vary depending on project needs.
• Integration of automated test suites with the current build and deployment processes.
• Maintenance of automated tests to accommodate changes in system design and architecture.
• Integration of Automation framework with existing tools (JIRA).
• Create/Manage/Utilize Defect workflows with automated test execution.
• Design and publish meaningful metrics to support automation test creation and execution.
• Perform all types of testing — Functional, API, Automation, Manual and Load, including necessary manual validation where required.
   

Role Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with QA engineering delivery experience
• 4+ years of delivery within Agile SDLC/teams ideally with CICD
• Programming experience in Java with focus on behavior driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD) and design patterns, ideally within continuous integration (CICD), including hands-on experience for backend automation
• Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs and exposure to React front end
• Strong experience in data engineering, including data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and big data processing
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, and distributed computing environments
• Experience designing and implementing streaming data processing solutions and scalable data platforms
• Experience with Playwright and TypeScript
• Agile development approach
• CICD: Maven, Sonar, Git, Teamcity/Jenkins, Docker
• AI Integration experience preferred
• Exposure to banking and/or finance environments preferred
• Strong communication skills: English B2+

Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Tech Lead to take ownership of the company’s infrastructure practice, combining technical leadership, team management, and hands-on expertise.

You will work closely with the CTO and engineering leadership to coordinate infrastructure activities, establish effective processes, drive infrastructure modernization, and ensure reliable delivery across environments. The role is primarily focused on management and coordination, while still requiring enough technical depth to challenge decisions, support the team, and contribute hands-on when needed.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure activities and teams across multiple products and environments.
• Organize and prioritize the team’s work, ensuring clear ownership, effective collaboration, and timely delivery.
• Work closely with the CTO and engineering leads to define priorities, make infrastructure decisions, and drive initiatives to completion.
• Build and improve DevOps processes, team practices, documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing.
• Take ownership of the company’s Azure infrastructure, its reliability, security, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Drive infrastructure modernization, automation, and technical debt reduction.
• Coordinate improvements across CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, observability, security, and incident response.
• Provide technical guidance and challenge infrastructure decisions when needed, helping the team make effective technical choices.
• Support and develop DevOps/SRE engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and help build a sustainable infrastructure practice.
• Identify infrastructure risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities and turn them into actionable initiatives.
• Balance business priorities, technical risks, infrastructure costs, and team capacity when making decisions.
• Remain hands-on when required, stepping into technical tasks or complex infrastructure issues when the situation calls for it.
• Take ownership of infrastructure-related problems from identification through implementation and ensure that agreed solutions are actually delivered.

Role Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical/team management, combined with a strong background in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience managing or coordinating DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Solid experience with CI/CD, preferably GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with monitoring and observability, such as Grafana or similar tools.
• Experience with infrastructure security, secrets management, and access control.
• Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS environments.
• Experience with infrastructure modernization, technical debt reduction, automation, and process optimization.
• Ability to understand complex technical issues, challenge technical decisions, and provide practical guidance to engineers.
• Ability and willingness to remain hands-on when necessary, despite the management-focused nature of the role.
• Strong experience building or improving technical processes and team practices, especially in environments where processes need to be established or significantly improved.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to work directly with CTO-level stakeholders and engineering leadership.
• Strong ownership, accountability, proactive problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs in terms of cost, risk, priorities, and business impact.
• Strong communication skills: English B2+

Daily schedule 

Our company supports work-life balance and allows you to tailor your schedule, which consists of 8 working hours and time for lunch. Shared business hours for most of our teams are 12 pm - 7 pm Kyiv time.
