Most SEO tools feel like they were built for machines, not humans. Theyβre heavy, data-dense, and overwhelming. At SE Ranking, the product is powerful β but the experience doesnβt yet match the promise. Thatβs why weβre looking for a designer who thrives in the hardest place to do good work: the first minutes a user spends with us.
This role is about taking intimidating complexity and shaping it into something obvious, empowering, and even enjoyable. Youβll design the journeys where someone decides if SE Ranking is just another SEO tool, or the one theyβll actually stick with.
Youβll work closely with a PM and engineers, not decorating finished ideas, but helping define them. We expect you to bring clarity, set high standards for design quality, and create patterns that make our product feel effortless and well-made.
What youβll take on:
- Design the very first experience β signup, onboarding, activation β where users make their stay-or-leave decision.
- Turn data-heavy SEO workflows into clear, confident flows that donβt require a manual.
- Shape the path from trial to paying customer so that growth feels like a natural next step, not a push.
- Establish design principles that let us move quickly but never sloppily.
Raise the bar of craft β details, hierarchy, interactions β because thatβs where trust is built.
Who you are:
- Youβve shipped products where the problem wasnβt simple, and you made it feel simple.
- You sweat the details because you know small things add up to whether an experience feels right or wrong.
- You have opinions and taste β and the ability to explain them clearly.
- You donβt need a research study to tell you when a design is off, but you know when to listen and adapt.
Youβre comfortable in messy environments and still keep quality high.
How we work:
- A small crew: PM + 5 engineers. Youβll be close to the work and see your designs shipped.
- No layers of approval β direct ownership of high-visibility flows.
- Backup from analytics, marketing, and SEO experts, but the design calls will be yours.
Remote-first, async-friendly, with overlap in European hours.
What we offer:
- 22 days of vacation
- Flexible work schedule
- Compensation of medical insurance expenses
- 50% reimbursement of sport or psychotherapy
- 50% reimbursement of conference tickets and educational courses
- Compensation for individual English courses
- A top-notch product that is easy to market
- Work with a well-motivated fast-and-furious team
- Fun corporate and team building events
Why this role:Most design jobs are about polishing what already exists. This one isnβt. Here, the challenge is to take a powerful product and make it approachable to thousands of professionals worldwide. If you care about execution, clarity, and raising the bar in places where itβs never been raised before β youβll find this role worth your time.

- An Autonomous Operator: You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment. You are a self-starter who can create clarity and drive projects forward with minimal direction.
- A Dedicated Craftsperson: You have a deep appreciation for clean, elegant design in the vein of Apple, Vercel, and Airbnb. You have high standards, a low ego, and are motivated by the impact of your work.
Why Join Us?
- Unparalleled Impact: Your work will directly support our mission of empowering millions of people globally. You will be building tools for positive, measurable change.
- Foundational Ownership: As a pivotal early hire, you will build our design culture from the ground up. You will not just use a design system; you will be its architect incl. all the recognition for it internationally as we are working with governments and international institutions creating high visibility.
- A Culture of Purpose: Join a small, dedicated team that is deeply committed to our mission and to each other. We are driven by humanistic values and the desire to make a meaningful difference.
