Responsibilities:
- Review AI-generated micro-episodes (“snips”) and refine them for clarity, pacing, and narrative flow.
- Edit full-length scripted/reality/film content into short-form episodes (45 sec – 2 min each).
- Ensure each episode includes:
- Strong opening hook
- 1–2 dramatic/emotional beats
- A cliffhanger, twist, or anticipation trigger at the end
- Correct AI mistakes in scene selection or trimming.
- Adapt horizontal (16:9) footage into vertical (9:16) format for mobile-first storytelling (Premiere Pro preferred).
- Enhance visual quality, framing, and pacing to maximize audience engagement.
- Deliver final edits (Premiere projects or MP4 exports) within tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with content and product teams to align edits with platform standards.
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of professional editing experience on scripted series, reality shows, or films for studios/production companies.
- Strong storytelling instincts (especially in drama, reality, or serialized content).
- Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro skills (auto-reframe or similar tools a plus).
- Ability to condense long-form narratives into short, addictive mobile-first episodes.
- Strong sense of pacing, cliffhangers, and audience engagement triggers.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under deadlines.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience editing for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, or other vertical video platforms.
- Background in trailers, promos, or digital-first short-form content.
