DA focuses on developing and supporting client-based analytics in CPG or Pharma domains, including areas like pricing and promotion analytics, forecasting, marketing analytics, trade promotions, supply chain management, and segmentation.

Junior Data scientists will be assigned to a project and will shadow other team members’ work, learning first, then helping with simple tasks, complexity will grow with time.

As a Junior Data Scientist in our Decision Analytics practice, you will:

• Build solutions that require analyzing client business problems and develop models to solve them. 
• Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment conducting data and requirements gathering, research and prototyping, solution scoping and architecture.  
• Execute quantitative data analysis that translates into actionable insights and decisions. 
• Learn and pick up new language / tools / platforms quickly. 
• Collaborate and coordinate with different functional teams, local and global, to implement models and monitor outcomes. 
• Knowledge of statistical/ML predictive techniques such as Linear/Logistic/Hierarchical regressions, Factor/Cluster analysis, Decision Trees, Boosting methods, Neural Networks, etc.
• Python and familiarity with data analysis and ML libraries (such as Pandas, NumPy etc.)
• Advanced Excel is helpful as well.
• Practical experience developing sophisticated statistical or econometric models is strongly preferred.
• Good written and verbal skills to communicate with internal/external customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Client/result-oriented focus, attention to details.
• Intermediate (or higher) proficiency in English is a must.
